The automation of production processes is taken for granted in modern industry, and obviously is an important part of the product portfolio of SWA. Using industrial robots and other suitable systems, we enable the handling and manipulation of components. Warehouse Control Systems

MET´s warehouse systems come with a automatic weighing and counting unit. This unit is uniquely designed for product and process needs. Weighing system has load cells that are connected to our PLC and used for counting. All the product information's such as weight, count, ID and similar are either kept in our database or could be downloaded directly from customers’ ERP system.

An IP camera could be integrated to the system to take photo of the incoming or outgoing products. Process of the warehouse control could be changed according to customer demands.

One of the keys to a profitable business is the efficient operation of the warehouse using an RFID warehouse management software and barcod-ing. The automation functions of warehouse control system (WCS) enable a company to effectively manage and control all aspects of warehouse or distri-bution operations. With accurate RFID inventory and the appropriate data col-lection infra-structure (barcode and RFID), you will increase inventory accura-cy, improve order picking accuracy, boost shipping throughput, reduce invento-ry. It provides the core functions for warehouse operations, including physical inventory, shipping, receiving, and picking, as well as management features such as queries, reporting and barcode labeling.

From foam-molding to back foaming – MET makes molds for creating the perfect parts every time. Molds for open or closed pouring are made of steel or aluminum and/or with a polymer surface if required. Our molds are engineered as custom tools for specific appli-cations and ensure process-specific heating or cooling. The molds have demolding con-cepts for damage-free demolding, are fitted with product-specific seal systems and come with wear-resistant surfaces, if required.

MET’s fixture technology is based on a consistent modular design, allowing the user great flexibility as well as quick and simple retrofitting. The demand for greater product variety is steadily growing, which means that pro-duction cycles for different models are getting shorter. Economy and produc-tion flexibility are the highest priority. This imposes high demands on manufac-turing logistics and on the automation level of a model change during produc-tion. Today, this can be effected with hardly any interruptions in a user-friendly, largely automatic manner. MET provides the following tried-and tested solu-tions to meet these new demands. MET relies on foaming fixture with changeable dimensions. Electrically controlled walls are on moving axes ena-bling the product dimension to be changed on the HMI screen saving invest-ment and time.

Punching tools cut outer and inner contours and holes in components which have already been pressed, injected or foamed. We are specialists in punching high-quality three-dimensional products like complete dashboards, door panels, roof liners or acoustic and isolation components.

Automation of trimming systems MET provides complete integrated sys-tems with robot-aided handling. The trim line is fed by an industrial 6-axis robot or a Cartesian Robot. After the punching process, areas that cannot be punched could be milled automatically. The second robot delivers the finished part to a conveyor that takes it to the next process.

Rotor shafts and rotor packages are automatically fed to the press. We can also use robotic arms to pick-up rotor packs from a palette. It is also applicable on out-feed of the press. Another robotic arm could palletize products.

MET’s rotor shaft assembly machine has an outstanding accuracy and high Cpk. Shafts are assembled in the package with ±0.1 mm tolerance. The maximum circular run out is 0,005 mm on the shaft and 0,05 mm on the package. MET’s shaft assembly system achieves this tolerances with advanced rotor shaft and package guiding system.

Rotor shafts and rotor packages are automatically fed to the press. We can also use robotic arms to pick-up rotor packs from a palette. It is also applicable on out-feed of the press. Another robotic arm could palletize products.

MET’s rotor shaft assembly machine has an outstanding accuracy and high Cpk. Shafts are assembled in the package with ±0.1 mm tolerance. Unique Assem bly Meth-od

MET has developed a unique assembly method for the rotor packages. A hydraulic cylinder presses the package with a 0.03 mm accuracy with its external optical encoder, then servo motor driven assembly head puts the shaft into the shaft. This system has a 8 seconds cycle time with 60 mm high packages.

Our innovation is the way we manufacture our heat exchanger. In our alu-minum extruded heat exchangers, heat transfer fluid is carried with a single piece fluid carrier. Being a single piece fluid carrier, Alumina heat exchangers have no mechanical connections neither welds or solders. Hence we can ac-commodate higher pressures. With this unique feature we can also carry corro-sive fluids in our exchangers.

Our heat exchanger is used across all industries, and able to manage a multiple of hot and cold side fluids, Alumina heat exchanger provides the per-fect solution to a wide range of industrial and domestic application needs. The fluid carrier patterns are particularly well suited to fluids in the lower viscosity range, such as water, juices, glycol, light solutions, CIP and suspensions con-taining small particles. Primary media such as steam, superheated water and diathermic oil can all be accommodated.
