We have exciting updates to share about Blackhawk’s growth and upcoming new branch locations in 2017!
Due to the winter cold and frozen ground, our fourth Janesville location on the south side of the city at 1545 Center Ave. will now be built in the spring. We are looking forward to serving the community in that area and have received positive
feedback about this new branch. We have also heard from Edgerton residents and business owners Eric and Jenna Gresens, who are expanding the Edgerton Pharmacy and Boutique to a new location at 1101 N. Main St. in Edgerton and leasing to Blackhawk, that construction will begin in the spring. When construction is complete, our current Edgerton branch will move to this new space.
In addition to these two new locations, we are pleased to announce that we are expanding to the Kenosha area and will be opening a branch at 7180 75th St. Along with that branch, Kenosha City Employees Credit Union has signed a letter of intent to merge with Blackhawk. • Eligible applicants include seniors at high schools in Rock, Dane, Jefferson, Walworth, Green, Kenosha, Racine and Waukesha Counties in Wisconsin, as well as Winnebago and Boone Counties in Illinois.
• Applicants must be members of the credit union to be eligible.
• Applicants will be chosen based on their overall academic performance, references and written essay.
• Applications must be received by March 15, 2017, for consideration.
The Scholarship Committee will review all applications and select the recipients. Good luck!
