Changes Coming to Powerchart! April 10, 2012

Saint Joseph Hospital, East, Jessamine, and Berea will be undergoing a Cerner Upgrade that will change the look of the Powerchart Inbox where Physicians sign allocations. Changes

will also provide added communication functionality.

 

 

 

 1. Key Notifications toolbar: This will list the number of "Docs" or documents that are unopened and

requiring signature. 2. Communicate Button: This button allows you to initiate a new message from anywhere in PowerChart to

communicate with other physicians. 3. Inbox and Proxy tab: This allows you to toggle between your personal inbox and proxy inboxes. 4. Display Date Filter: This filter indicates the date range in which documents, results, and msgs display. 5. Inbox Summary: This provides you with a quick view of all of the items in your Inbox. 6. Inbox Summary Workspace: displays detailed items that need to be addressed in the selected folder. 7. Quick Patient Chart Access: When a message, document or result is highlighted within Message Center,

the patient chart access button is available.
