Our staff believe that all students can excel, and they willingly challenge and change their own practices to meet that end. Dear Parents and Carers Yaama SASS Recognition Week This week we are celebrating SASS Week where we recognise the great job our SAS Staff do in our school. Our SAS Staff assist teachers, implement individual programs, maintain our grounds, coordinate our administration, support our Library and do great things for our kids. Without our SAS Staff, our school would not be the smooth running organisation that it is. Thank you Mrs Schumann and Mrs Woods in our office, Mrs Patterson, Mr Moxey and Mrs Toone – our School Learning and Support Officers and Mr Durrant – our General Assistant Term 3 Staff Changes For the remainder of Term 3 Mrs Bishop will be teaching Year 4/5 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays and Mrs Wand will be teaching Thursday and Fridays. Ms Marshall will be teaching our Kindy class on Thursday and Fridays. Mrs Spicer will be on leave until the end of the term. Notes to our Kindy and Year 4/5 students went home last Friday. Learning and Growing Savannah – shared her diary entry with me and could state her learning goal on how she was going to improve her writing. Tailor – read me a story called The New Boots. He has worked so hard to improve his reading. Liam – wrote a convincing letter to me to get a class pet cat that he would look after Miles – wrote a convincing letter to get a class pet lizard to eat the bugs Stevie-Rae – read me a story about Mother Panda and baby Panda’s adventures. Our Annual Father’s Day Breakfast will be held on Thursday, 29th August, 8am-9am in the School Hall.

Please come along and enjoy Bacon and Eggs with the children.. We look forward to seeing you there...

BEFORE SCHOOL STUDENT ARRIVAL

A reminder that your children should not be arriving to school before 8:30am

as teachers are not on duty until this time.

Our teachers use this time to prepare for the day and attend meetings and

students are not supervised until 8:30am.

We appreciate your co-operation.
