Liberty group St. Luke’s group Faye Anne Hughes 2009 State ENA Winners: Cheryl Phillips – Liberty - Nurse of the Year Kathleen Hitchcock - St. Luke’s North – Forensic Nurse of the Year Jennifer Aiken - Centerpoint - State ENA Clinical Practice Award Winner Cheryl Phillips, Lori Davis, and Teresa Coyne went to Baltimore National ENA conference as representatives from the KC chapter and MO State ENA. Lori, Cheryl, Teresa Missouri Delegates National Board Meeting in Baltimore We would love to have more representation from the KC Chapter at our state ENA meetings. I know it is a challenge to fit extra meetings into your busy schedules. If you are interested in being a delegate at the 2010 ENA National Convention in San Antonio next year (Sept 22-25, 2010) you must attend 2 state ENA meetings before June 2010. There are only 4 state meetings all year (2 left before June). Just to name a few reasons to be a delegate: It is great fun to go to the conventions, increased involvement in ENA, abundant networking and educational opportunities, San Antonio is a beautiful place for a convention, state helps pay part of your way as a delegate to the convention If you don’t go as a delegate you may want to plan to go to the convention – it is great fun too!!

a year free ENA membership drawing from all those

nominated this year. Her current membership will be

extended one year – paid by the KC chapter.

Jennifer Aiken, RN, BSN, CEN from Centerpoint won the

State ENA Clinical Practice Award.
