Wecanallagreethatfarewellshurt,butcanalso agree that it leaves us with theconsola6onandhopeofareunionwhereallcan gather together to relive the nostalgia.IMTorganisedMILANfor thebatchof2012pass outs. A fun filled evening where thealumnididnotonlyget tomeeteachotherbut also could interact with the juniorswhom they had delivered the IMT batonbefore proceeding to glorify the brand ofIMTinthecorporateworld.Thecampushadbeenadornedwith lights in theprepara6onof the evening. The event started with amundane registra6on process, from wheretheyweretakentotheiroldlecturehallsandseated for a welcome speech by Dr. K.Waheed followed by Dr. J. Moorthy. Thealumni were treated with videos on theirIMTlegacy.

Students are full of doubts right now as being afresher. So these kind of sessions really removethe tension from their minds. They also gavesome insights about crea6ng a web portal justsimilar to IMT Ghaziabad so that was a goodsugges6on and we are already implemen6ng it.With this portal Alumni will not have to sharetheirpersonalphoneNo.andonlyofficialemailidis available and is accessible to whosoever logsinto theportal. They also gave a jus6fied reasonthat Alumni don’t turn up because collegeapproachesalumniwithonlyplacements in theirmind.Regardingthevenue,alumnilovecomingtocampus,butit’stoofarfromthecity,soitwouldbebeLer if themee6ng isorganizedsomewherein the city in a hotel or ball room. Ithinkthesesessionsareveryhelpfulforthecollege.As with the help of these sessions alumni of thiscollege is also in touch and they interact with eachother. With these sessions we can increase theinterac6on between the alumni. When they talk toeachother thentheircontactsalsogrowwhichhelpus indirectly to improve our contacts as being analumni they can help in internship opportuni6es. Inthe previous mee6ng the alumni discussed withinthemselves how to improve the link betweenstudents and alumni. They also asked studentspresentover there thatwhatall needed tobedonefor bridging contacts between students and alumniandhowcanthesesessionbehelpfultostudents.Wecan have mentorship session later on aqer theinterac6on between them. This mentorship sessionhelp the students to clearall theirDoubts regardingjabaspectsinDubaiandlivinginDubai.

“Lifeisn’tamaLerofmilestones,butmoments”.IMT has givenme good & bad 6mes. The bestpartwasthatbad6mesdidn’tlastlong.Thefirstsemester was great, an overwhelming learningexperience. The cases/assignments/projects –Ohmygod!Madeusworkdayandnightwithnosleep!!! The second semesterwasa good start.By now we knew each other. It was easier tostart this semester. The third & the fourthsemester seemed to be tough. We had tochoose our fields. Since I had taken Finance, Ihadatough6medoingthepresenta6ons.HowIwonder how I passed all the exams. From the6meIhadjoinedIMT,Ihadlearntalotofthingsboth said and unsaid: most of it being to mybenefit. IMT is like aplayground, you justneedto play your game the right way. It will surelylead you to victory.Maybe back then I did notrealize why we are doing what we were. Buttoday when I look back, each and everythingseems to be learning for me today.
