Mixed Reality Applications for industry and production
Founded by Philip Hausmeier and Carl White, Meshicon Software offers mixed reality solutions for industry and production since 2017. With the help of Microsoft HoloLens, a scalable menu system was developed for the operation and maintenance of machines for various customers.
The holographic visualization in the MR glasses allows the user to study instructions in the form of photos, video and CAD 3D-models at the machine and at the same time implement them with the freedom of the user's hands. A cost-saving and efficient function is also the remote assistance provided: Using the built-in camera of the MR glasses, the expert can recognize the problems on the machine from a distance and support the person on site with visual instructions.
For the exchange of machine data and for digital twins, Meshicon implements IIoT solutions with connection to the cloud platform Microsoft Azure. An integrated system for industry 4.0 is provided, which combines data transfer, information security and industrial human-machine interaction.
MeshInstruckt - a modular menu system for machines
In cooperation with mechanical engineers for the pharmaceutical industry, Meshicon has developed a white-label SaaS product for the HoloLens that offers the following features for the operation and maintenance of machines.
• Holographic instruction manual • Holographic video tutorial player • 3D representation of machines and components • JT reader and converter • CAD conversion for HoloLens • Remote assistance

HoloLens FFD application for a Japanese automotive manufacturer
Since summer 2018 development of a free-form deformation tool with the following features:
• Multi Viewer HoloLens visualization of vehicle geometry and basic interactions • Implementation of free-form deformation with gesture control • Model exchange between additional monitor and HoloLens • Photon Network Integration • Livewebstreaming
HoloLens graph visualization with FoP Consult and TH Wildau
A current research project in cooperation with FoP Consult and the Technical University Wildau is developing a graph system for data visualization and control in the intelligent factory.
• Graph-based semantic network • Implementation using Graphileon, Neo4j, Azure and Unity • Use of the patented tracking system "CodeLoc" of TH Wildau
HoloLens categorization tool for suppliers in cooperation with the Automobile Association of Suppliers Berlin-Brandenburg and BMW
Development of a HoloLens demo application to better categorize components with the example of a BMW motorcycle. Assemblies can be selected more quickly in regard to process and design parameters, the respective components can be studied more closely with the corresponding design drawings and 3D models and scans. https://1drv.ms/v/s!AgzqojaloGTfr12GuCN6KvVUNZ3R
Holographic Qualification Training System for the Mittelstand 4.0- Kompetenzzentrum Cottbus
For the Microsoft HoloLens, an application is implemented to convey a process step in an industrial context. The user should first see the process step virtually over three steps using a cube and a cylinder, then practice virtually and finally carry it out with real objects with AR superimposition.
