Using ALTA Spectrometers (2 per team if possible): We have spectrometers we will be lending out to each team to complete

the lessons that focus on reflectance spectroscopy. Lessons include: Introduction (resource/background information) Explore the spectrometers (1 class period) Visible and Invisible light (1 class period) Taking a Reflectance spectrum (2-3 class periods) Color vision (1-2 class periods) Remote sensing and Earth observations (1-2 class periods) Clouds and Dust (1-2 class periods) What makes Mars Red/Measuring Mars (1-2 class periods)
