Who are We? mermaid telecom has its original roots in Scandinavia and was

formed by people with 30 years experience in the telecom tower sector. We at Mermaid are highly experienced people, not only specializing in our own particular field of expertise, but in the telecommunications industry in general and especially in the Asia Pacific region. We are a range of people from different parts of the World - All with a wide variety of backgrounds in the Telecom Industries. With our comprehensive experience in the industry, we truly believe we can add a new angle for the industry which enable us to offer our clients very innovative and competitive solutions. We at mermaid telecom believe our major strengths are EPCM solutions in the Civil Works supply chain where we can offer the Costumers all our Products and Services. We have entered agreements with a range of partners and are able to deliver quick with a minimum ramp-up.

Telecommunication Services

Telecommunication Fiber cables Network System. The changing of living concept in Indonesia into the digital age, create a need to rapidly expand the fiber networks throughout the populated areas in Indonesia. Mermaid Telecom provides the skill of planning, supervision and installation of fibercable network systems.

Tower Strengthening & Foundation. The service is offering the works of design, planning, supervision, installation & supply of tower reinforcement. Starting with analysis of the existing tower structures and load bearing capacity.

Project Management Handling projects of every type and size, these services provides construction management and consultancy together with specialist services such as design, documentation andcontract management.

Surveying. A full range of specialist building and land surveying services is offered, including consultancy on building and greenfiled, expertise provides for CME survey, RF survey and MW survey (SIS, SES and for roll-out projects), provides strategy and proposal, scheme and plans, and aim on the customer satisfaction.

Telecommunication services is a new focus for Mermaid Telecom.

It coveres telecommunication cables, network system, tower & foundation,

and Installation of Power Solutions and Base Transceiver System (BTS).

Our 3 Signature Designs, 1: The Tubular Tower Our tubular tower concept offers a range of new and innovative solutions, such as: 3-Legged tower with triangular cross section Equal Diagonal Length in the Panels – minimum number of different

elements Simple cutting edge bolt connections (see pictures) Very simple design concept providing minimum wind drag of the

tower itself Small foundations Double cable ladder Panels prepared for future upgrade (Optional) Feeder run inside the Leg Members (Optional) Anchor Bolts or Cast-in parts for easy installation Rest and Working Platforms Modular flexible design allowing us to meet exactly the Customers requirements A range of tower families already developed and easily modified to fit exact requirements.

Our 3 Signature Designs, 2: 60o Angular Tower Our 60o angular tower concept offers a range of new and innovative solutions, such as: 3-Legged triangular tower cross section Equal Diagonal Length in the Panels – minimum number of different elements Simple bolt connections with no gusset plates 60o Profiles developed optimal for their purpose Very simple design concept providing minimum wind drag of the tower itself Anchor Bolts or Cast-in parts for easy installation Small foundations Double cable ladder easy accessible from ladder Rest and working platforms Panels prepared for future upgrade (Optional) Top Panel with leg members made of circular tubes for easy

antenna mounting (Optional) Lattice members of circular tubes (Optional) Modular flexible design allowing us to meet exactly the Customers

Our 3 Signature Designs, 3: Step - Monopole

Our monopoles are developed as “step” monopoles. This, in order to pack the monopoles telescopic inside each other for easy transportation to site. The monopole concept in addition have the following features: Standard: 3 - 6 m section height. Tubes to be either many sided polygons designed exactly for the need or standard tubes available in the market Cable run inside the monopole Simple ladder arrangement made of round elements to reduce any additional wind drag Ladder system prepared for wire fall-arrester system Antenna rings made from solid round bars in order to keep wind drag to the minimum. Working platforms underneath antenna level Tilting tools allowing horizontal assembly and tilting to vertical without use of crane (optional) Anchor Bolts or Cast-in parts for easy installation to fit exact requirements.

Our Tower Tool In addition to the commercial well-known Tower Software available in the market, mermaid telecom has found a need to develop a smart tower tool “TOWERmaid” . The tool enable us to carry out comprehensive analysis faster and more accurate than any other tower software for the benefit of the tower owner. Whilst we also have the standard commercial tools for documentation if so required by our Customers.

Our Production The production for our hot dip galvanised State-of-the-Art tower families within Indonesia is taken place at one of our Production Partners. We have entered frame agreement with trusted partners in Thailand, Indonesia and China. All our production partners have comprehensive experience in producing towers for the telecom and power grid sectors.

Our Philosophy : ”More for Less”

Our designs are based upon our comprehensive experience working with masts and towers in the industry during the last three decades. The design is a natural evolution of the different well-known solutions you can find in the tower sector. However, unique!

We have evaluated the best solutions from a long range of different mast and tower concepts, put them together, refined and fine-tuned them in order to offer our clients the best and most competitive solutions whilst taken everything into account.

We believe it is safe to state: That no one offer solutions with a more simple design and easier to install than we!

From an environmental point of view “Less is More”. Our structures have in general much lower weight than similar traditional structures, which provide saving on the environment account during manufacturing, transportation and related site works.

In addition to above. We are a new player and don’t have to support a big head office, paying management fees to an internal international organisation etc. This enable us to have smaller margins than most big players in this sector. Thus, together with our unique design, we will also be able to provide very competitive pricing!

reinforcement of existing towers. More than 1000

towers have been carried out. The project has been

ongoing since 2012 and are still ongoing with up to

100 towers per month.

2012-

Design and supply of 45m high towers with steel

foundation and ballast in 2013. A total number of 42

towers delivered until now. Foundations was

produced and delivered by MT’s partner in Thailand

whilst the tower themselves were produced by MT’s

partner in China.

2013 Myanmar NSN, APAC

Design and supply of 9-15m rooftop towers for high

wind speed (200 km/h). 80 towers have been

delivered until now. Towers produced and delivered

by MT’s Chinese partner.

2013 Yangon MTC / Digicel

Design and supply of 45m high towers with steel

foundation and ballast in 2013. A total number of 18

towers delivered until now. Foundations was

produced and delivered by MT’s partner in Thailand

whilst the tower themselves were produced by MT’s

partner in China.

2014 –

Ongoing Myanmar Ooredoo

Design and supply of 35-45m high towers with steel

foundation and ballast in 2013. A total number of 52

towers delivered until now in Myanmar. Foundations

was produced and delivered by MT’s partner in

Thailand whilst the tower themselves were produced

by MT’s partner in China.

2014 –

Ongoing Myanmar MTC / Digicel

Mermaid telecom (MT) has been in operation since 2012. The company was founded by people with more than 30 years experience in the Industry.
