PsychosisA mental disorder characterized by a loss of
contact with reality. This may be evidenced by bizarre behaviors, delusions, hallucinations, or disorganized speech patterns.
Present with disorders such as substance withdrawal or abuse, schizophrenia, bipolar disorders.
