Dustin Letts, MD, FACCDr. Dustin Letts is an Interventional Cardiologist at CaroMont Heart & Vascular. He graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine, completed his residency at Carolinas Medical Center and completed his fellowship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
Maggie EarlMaggie Earl is the mother of seven-year-old identical twin girls, Abigail and Emeline (“Emmy”). Emmy has Tetralogy of Fallot, which required two open heart surgeries before she was six months old and two heart caths over the next two years. Maggie has been active with Triangle Mended Little Hearts out of the Raleigh area since 2014 and joined the leadership team in 2017. She is passionate about providing support to newly-diagnosed pediatric CHD families as well as connecting area pediatric CHD families with their large community.
Rev. David Christy David Christy has been the Senior Pastor at First United Methodist Church in Gastonia, NC since 2012. He received is Bachelor of Arts from Pfeiffer College in 1988 and Masters of Divinity from Duke Divinity School in 1991. David serves on several agency boards in Gaston County and has served his denomination at General Conferences. David is married to Pam Christy, and they have two adult children, Luke, and wife Kelly, and Maggie.

Nancy Smith, MS, RD/LDNNancy Smith was the Registered Dietitian for CaroMont Regional Medical Center from 2003 to 2017. She joined Mended Hearts as a Cardiac Rehab staff member and presented several nutrition related programs at local chapter meetings. In 2017, she became her husband’s caregiver when he had a heart attack and stent placed. Together, they have shared the Medical Grab and Go Bag concept at many doctor visits.
Amish Sura, MD, FACC, FSCAIAmish Sura, MD, FACC, FSCAI is a Structural and Interventional Cardiologist at CaroMont Heart & Vascular. He completed medical school at the University of North Carolina, an internship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and cardiology residencies at University of Maryland Medical Center and Emory University. He is board certified in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
Gregory Woo, MD, FHRS, FACCGregory Woo, MD, FHRS, FACC is an electrophysiology cardiologist at CaroMont Heart & Vascular. He attended Southern Methodist University and University of Mississippi School of Medicine for medical school. He completed his residency and fellowship at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease and Electrophysiology.

Travis Nixon, DDSDr. Travis Nixon is a dentist in McAdenville, NC at Christmastown Dentistry. He received his Bachelor of Science in biology and DDS from UNC Chapel Hill. Dr. Nixon is a member of the American Dental Association, NC Dental Society, Gaston County Dental Society, Pankey Institute Alumni and the Spear Study Club. Dr. Nixon is passionate about treating patients holistically and collaborating with their healthcare providers to promote optimal wellness.
