• For each word, think about the thing it stands for and rate it from1 to 10.

• Do NOT write anything down.

Scale

1= very unpleasant

5= neutral

10= pleasant

It is known that people differ in how pleasant they believe different words are. We are going to demonstrate the “pleasantness” value of a list of words.

• For each word, decide if it contains the letter ‘e.’ If it does, make a mark on a sheet of paper. If it does not, do nothing
