What is this technique?

• A way to visualize a set of associated facts that you need to memorize.

• Each room of the house represents a section of your speech.

• When you engage in the process of “creating” symbols of the chunks that you need to memorize, you create deeper meaning that is easier to remember.

• When you “place” them in the rooms of your house you assist yourself in recalling them at the time that you need them in your speech.
