It is the start of the season for giving

thanks. November 11th we honor and say

'Thank You' to all Veterans. Our Veterans

Day celebratory program will be held at the Inn on November

11th. Bring your military photos to Community Life

beforehand for our display table. Later in the month, on

November 28th, dining services will prepare a Thanksgiving

Feast with all the trimmings. Don't forget to make your

reservations and sign up any guests attending with you.

One of the best things about the Holidays are the tasty treats that

are at every gathering! We all look forward to the holidays for that

special treat that is only made once a year for the holidays.

Weather it's grandmas famous pecan and pumpkin pies, sugar

cookies, fudge, caramel apples, and cider. Their is so many goodies,

we can't wait for the holidays to have them! Come taste the

best desserts for the holidays during this month. Check your

Calendar and daily's for the great treats that will coming your way

during this month of November. Recipes will be available upon

request. All tasting and demos will be held in the Town Center

Multi-purpose Room. This will be a class you won't want to miss!

latte afterwards to enjoy.

Monday, November 11th at

The Inn in the Dynasty Room

is where our Annual Veterans Day Celebration will be held. It is a

time to reflect and honor those sacrifices made by heroic men and

women of the Armed Forces. Let's us pay homage to those

currently serving, but perhaps even more importantly, a time for us

to salute those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. Rounding out the

end of the month Marines from Camp Pendleton will be joining us

for Thanksgiving so please welcome them as they are far away

from home, some for the first time. The moment you have your last

bite of pie it’s officially time to deck the halls! Trim the tree! Sing a

Christmas carol or two. No one is judging but don't count on it!

HelloSweaters! November 11th is Veteran's Day. As the

nation comes together to remember and

honor the service and sacrifices of our

Veterans, we here at Sea Bluffs also

welcome you to come and join us at our

Annual Veterans Day Celebration as we

thank those who have served. Our

Executive Director Terry Brown will be

speaking and presiding over the event

with a speech and introductions of our

guest speakers. Bible Study Group Leader

Barry will lead us in a blessing. prayer.

Afterwards please stay to enjoy music

from the Girls Next Door which will be

dressed like the Andrew sisters in

military uniforms and sing some old

favorites. Cake and punch will be served

immediately following the celebration.

Path to Well-Being

Farewell to October. Though we are in to our chilly fall months we did not

stop enjoying festive fun here at The Fountains. We kicked off the month

with our Bavarian themed dinner in honor of Oktoberfest. Thanks to Chef

and his staff for a great meal. We also had an outing to Huntington Beach

for an Oktoberfest celebration with traditional food, music and dance, so

fun! At our Ceramics Workshop we are busy working on pumpkins and

starting on pine trees to decorate for the Holidays, each one unique and

beautiful. We closed out the month with our annual haunted house and

social. Costumes, treats and plenty of tricks were part of our celebration,

Pedro and his crew gave us another spooky fun time. Our entertainer Gale

kept the fun and merriment going with her wonderful piano playing. A fun

afternoon was had by all!
