    Tapeworm

Tapeworm infection usually occurs whenyou eat food or drink water contaminatedwith tapeworm eggs or larvae.

Tapeworms occur in humans in one of twoforms. If ingested as eggs, they maydevelop into larvae that migrate out of theintestines and form cysts in other tissues

such as the lungs or liver. These cysts cancause serious problems. Or, if ingested aslarvae, they typically develop into adulttapeworms in the intestines, which usuallycause few or no symptoms.
