SUBJ: Ebola Prevention Measures

DATE: July 31, 2014

As a result of the deadly Ebola outbreak coupled with the National Action Plan of the GOL designed by the National Task Force on Ebola, I have taken the following actions:

The establishment of a TU Task Force on Ebola. The Task Force is to put together a coherent plan for implementation.

All activities for the opening of AY 2014/15, including registration are hereby postponed until further notice.

With the exception of essential staff/units/administrators; all employees are to take a 30-day compulsory leave beginning August 1, 2014. Please know that essential staff/units/administrators including; Office of the President; all Vice Presidents; all Deans; all Department Chairs; Facilities Management (skeleton staff); Monrovia Office (skeleton staff); Finance; Human Resources; Public & Media Relations; Procurement; and Security Guards are to remain working.
