The Member BenefitsThere are personal and chapter benefits to being a member. Personal benefits include, but are not limited to: • Membership in a professional, statewide organization• Membership in a chapter in your community that sponsors educational programs• Access to the programming guide • Access to the Statewide database directory• Information on current legislative issues• Training on how to contact your local, state or federal legislator• Member benefits programs such as discounted life insurance, discounted marketing materials and discounted web services• Attendance at State and Region meetings for networking purposes

Chapter benefits include, but are not limited to: • A chapter page on the NYSWI web site• Access to the calendar of events to promote your local events• Access to the programming guide • Prerecorded workshops that can be used at chapter meetings• Membership promotion materials such as banners, informational post cards and buttons• Access to the tool kit, which includes sample agendas, budgets, bylaws, etc.
