Membership fees

Having decided to become a member of World of Leading Golf, your club will benefit from certain properties and services.

Your general membership fee, no matter if pre- or full member, includes the following: Licensing & Processing

Permission to use the World of Leading Golf logo⟩ Partaking and profiting from the WLG network activities⟩ Admission to WLG connecting trips and other

WLG members only-events⟩ Access to contact details of other members and business

associates

Marketing & Counselling

Integration and caretaking of the club presentation on all on- and offline media of the WLG as well as PR activities

Presentation in the annual World of Leading Golf Guide including copies for your own use

Publications in WLG newsletters and brochures Integration in measures of profiling by customized promotion,

public relations,events and regional arrangements Profiting from the expertise of the WLG staff and WLG related

professionals Business suggestions by expert WLG staff and WLG related

professionals on the basis of the Mystery-Test-Analyses

THINGS TO COUNT ON

Access to golf

Besides having to pay membership fees, we ask you to grant us a certain number of free tee times per year, depending on your membership status.

Tee times are valid only to the end of the respective year. They will be handed out in the form of ‘invitation cards’ to executives of member clubs, candidates, business partners and/or the press to be used to the benefit of the association and its members. The free green fees will not be sold on the open market. Tee times will be arranged according to availability so as to not affect your business. They can be restricted to non-peak times and away from members play. Please be reminded that the golfers using these tee times will be affluent guests and will have significant spend when visiting your establishments.

World of Leading Golf invites you to play at member club Royal Park i Roveri Valid for one green fee at a time agreed upon with the club.

The World of Leading Golf Mystery Test serves to qualify and benchmark WLG member clubs and is a great communication tool. In respect of the diversity of mem-ber clubs, the test has been refined to adapt to regional and cultural backgrounds while matching up to the expectations of the sophisticated cosmopolitan golfer.

WLG Mystery tests are executed by the professional British institute ‘International Golf Research’ at St. Andrews. Each club’s performance is compared against local, national and international competitors in all areas. All results are confidential to the venue and the system has added security to allow various levels of manage-ment restricted access.

The testers questionnaire is based on WLG qualification criteria. It assesses course quality and the condition of the club’s establishments as well as aspects regarding the customers well-being and feelings as well as the club image. Items which we consider to be of major importance when differentiating the clubs ranking amongst the top 3 % from other clubs of high niveau.

The WLG Mystery Test procedure contains: On-location test by 1 anonymous player per test Processing and presentation of the resulting

facts & figures Detailed analysis and comparisons Access to total results of all WLG member clubs⟩ Ranking of all clubs

Costs per test € 400

The costs per test are included in your general membership fee.

A proportion of the payment will be returned to you via payments the tester makes in underta-king the test.

THE WLG MYSTERY TEST

Pre-members are tested 2 times and full members 4 times per year. Of course, all appointed testers are anonymous, impartial, unbiased, unpaid and real golfers of all ability and ages.

Member clubs with two ore more registered courses receive a membership reduction for each facility.The requirements for reductions are: The second or further courses have to be a legal part of the

Club or organisation.⟩ All courses in question are managed by the same executive

administration. The second or further courses have a maximum distance of

20 kilometres from the first course. The existence of separate clubhouses on each of the courses

are no hindrance.

FULL MEMBERSHIP

MEMBERSHIP 2ND COURSEEstimation of the value of the WLG access to golf-arrangements

As flights will consist of an average of 3 persons and your club may be closing due to the seasons, the calculation is as follows:pre-members: 1 tee time p.m. x 3 persons x 1/2 = 18 green feesfull members: 2 tee times p.m. x 3 persons x 1/2 = 36 green fees

So, we will ask you to provide us with 18/36 green fees, for which we will produce and distribute the respective invitation cards.

The World of Leading Golf Concierge Services is part of our ‘feel like a member’-concept for members of World of Leading Golf member clubs. The online booking platform serves to strengthen the loyalty of member golfers, increase sales and improve the ROI of member clubs. WLG member clubs wishing to participate in the concept, are asked to compose exclusive, members-only travel offers in the following categories:

‘member for a day’-tee times incl. exclusive extras like complimentary refreshments and/or accessories, access to members-only club areas, transport services etc. depen-ding on the club.

3-day member‘s golf breaks incl. green fees, luxury accom-modations and eventful add-ons.

Tours & tournaments designed especially for WLG member golfers combining golf and cultural entertainment.

Participation in the WLG Concierge Services

Annual costs € 1,500

The participation fee includes:

Personalised WLG membership cards for your club members to identify and register as WLG member golfers when visiting a WLG member club or the Concierge Services online travel platform.

Integration in the WLG Concierge Services booking system with the club‘s protfolio as well as offers in any of the three booking categories.

Participation in the World of Leading Golf World Cup Series as a host venue and/or by sending your club‘s team to play any tournaments selected.

Having been accepted as a member of World of Leading Golf means your club must be one of the best golf establishments in Europe and beyond – a „must visit“ for all golfers who are looking for the quality and value that they have come to expect.

In order to enable you to communicate this professionally, World of Leading Golf and WLG and its partner agencies for PR and promoti-on invite you to make further use of our expertise.

To (re)gain your front-of-mind status in your selected target audience World of Leading Golf will …

Create on-target PR and promotional messages. Convey the unique attributes, standout features and distinc-

tive experiences your club has to offer. Generate appreciation within your target audience through

a range of tools including online and print media as well as trade and event representation.

Costs for WLG PR & Promotion support depend on the project.

For WLG member clubs wishing to review and possibly restructure their services and/or courses and establishments in order toameliorate their attractiveness and ROI, WLG associated business experts stand ready to help.

Depending on the need, WLG consulting services may include such things as Survey and analyses of possible competitors. Development of a suitable club positioning. Revision of existent marketing/communication; development

of a new communication strategy. Revision of existent establishments.

Costs for WLG Consulting services depend on the project.

WLG appoints one ‘home of’ per country or region to serve as communications base and organisational centre. Being a ‘home of‘ is restricted to a maximum duration of 3 years.

Functions of a club as WLG ’home of’:

Homes are responsible for national affairs such as the arrangement of connecting and PR-events

They serve as meeting places for piers, partners and management staffs of member clubs

They support the efforts of WLG to turn the most prominent golf clubs in their respective countries into WLG member clubs

Member clubs serving as ‘homes of’ World of Leading Golf receive a membership fee reduction of € 1,000 p.a.

Ryder Cup venues or other establishments that have a special standing in the golfing world are invited to join the association on special terms if they are wil-ling to act as WLG marketing partners.

Functions of WLG marketing partner clubs: An honourable member club serves as event venue for WLG-initiated

events The club joins in promotional activities of WLG The club serves as co-operations partner for other WLG member clubs

in suitable joint activities

Costs are to be individually determined.

WLG-Clients agree to the general terms of payment and services. The Payment terms in our business transactions are a priority issue for a smooth performance of World of Leading Golf and all services provided.

Our prices are very carefully calculated and we kindly request punctual pay-ment according to the agreement. World of Leading Golf is entitled to suspend the services in case of delay of payment. This process does not dispense from payment.

Conditions of payment:

The regular invoices include the costs for Licensing & Processing, Marketing & Counselling as well as Mystery Testing.

Additional expenses for the participation in the Concierge Services, PR & PR Promotion or commissioned consulting are charged separately.

Prices exclude VAT, any other taxes or duties will be charged as necessary.

Payment is due no later than 30 days after the date of the invoice. WLG allows for the possibility to pay in two instalments
