As you see from the pictures, Ray
decorated the barn with bouquets of flow-
ers and potted plants and everyone got to
take a bouquet or plant home with them.
Greg, who came bedecked with a
bird's nest and cardinal, was crowned our
King and John, with the one of a kind
amazing hat, our Queen. Well done boys!
Back by popular demand is the
BBQ in the park for June. We currently
need a PALS member to offer becoming
chef of the BBQ. If you would like to bring
music, please feel free. Last year, the
turnout was fantastic.
Skip and Michael have graciously
agreed to host the Annual White Party at
their house again this year. It will be on
August 20. Which, coincidentally is Skip
& Michael's 30th Anniversary! Michael,
honestly, tell me how you do it? I want
your secrets love.
Miss you all. Please write.
Thanks to our webmaster Ray for
his commentary on the evening's festivi-
ties at the Annual Ball and Al Moreton
Memorial Celebration.
It is reported that all thought the
barn worked out well for a Ball.
All attendees seemed to be well
involved and having a fun time. However,
only our gents males dressed up and not
the ladies. Maybe a little newsletter re-
minder would do the trick?
The auction was quite successful!
Thank you to all who participated with do-
nations and bidding. Apparently, there
were some grumbles about the auction
numbers being handled a little differently
this year. Complaints have submitted in
triplicate to the appropriate deciding par-
ties and a discussion will be held. There
was a fantastic selection of items. Hope
everyone got what they were after….
The D.J., who was recommended
by one of our new Board Members, April,
was excellent. They even had Ray up
dancing along with a lot of other people.
It seems compliments on the ca-
Remember the Price of FearRemember the Price of FearRemember the Price of FearRemember the Price of Fear - The Doodler, a serial killer of the 1970s that targeted gay men in San Francisco, would sketch his victims nude before murdering them. Three victims survived and a suspect was identified, but no one was willing to out themselves in order to convict the suspect.
HAPPY PRIDE!

Trivia Anyone? ~???????~
1. Q: Who was the first gay US service member to come out? When he died, he was buried without a name and known only as Gay Vietnam Veteran. His epitaph reads: ‘When I was in the military, they gave me a medal for killing two men and a discharge for loving one.’
2. Q: What company's 1994 ad was the first TV
commercial featuring an ordinary gay couple?
There you have it - when you think you know it all…

Note from the Geek:Note from the Geek:Note from the Geek:Note from the Geek:
And Spring slides into Summer and the World goes round and round. It's a magic feat of
nature that it's light until nearly 10 and the days seem long through the window but they are going by
so fast they are shorter then they ever have been.
There isn't enough day in any day to get half done what needs doing. Which begs the
question of why is there so much to do? How have so many hands lain pen to my list of chores?
Miss Golightly, I truly must protest.
Two Snaps for Good MediaTwo Snaps for Good MediaTwo Snaps for Good MediaTwo Snaps for Good Media Saltwater, directed by Charlie Vaughn.
This American Indie drama follows several endearing characters as they wade through life seeking happiness, peace and ultimately, love. Will (Ronnie Kerr: Vampire Boys 2, Shut Up and Kiss Me) leaves the Navy after many years, soon reunites old friends and begins to start his new civilian life. His friend Rich (Bruce L. Hart) tries to set him up with ruggedly handsome Josh (Ian Roberts: a former Australian professional rugby player, actor and model; Cedar Boys, Superman Returns, Little Fish). While there is immense chemistry between the two, timing and certain ideals never seem to align. When a shocking tragedy happens the two are paired up to pick up the pieces and sort through the after effects. Saltwater is a story about men of all ages, finding love, losing friends, navigating their way through life and knowing it's the journey rather then the destination that's important.
