APPLICATION BOOKLET
2014-2015
AIESEC PHILIPPINES
Member Committee President
"Sometimes it falls upon a generation to be great. You can be that generation."
Message from the MCP:
Audrey
Dear interested applicant,
Thank you and congratulations for being courageous enough to open this application pack. As current MCP, it is
my responsibility to inspire you, encourage you, and even warn you of the experience that is being MCP. I’m
afraid that in that respect, my words might fail you. If at the end of this message, you find that your heart is set,
then I applaud you for your intentions are true.
This application pack is not meant to intimidate you and neither is meant to prepare you. The application process
itself is just one chapter of your MCP experience and win or lose, it will change you. You will learn that it’s one
thing to dream of change, and another to make it happen. You will learn that some hearts can be moved, some
will be led astray. In the end it is you that will be moved, and you will want to achieve far more than what you set
out to do. All it will take is a taste of members pushing you, supporting you, challenging you, for you to realize how
much potential this entity holds.
The application experience will also show you that being MCP is something unique – it is what you make of it, but
the responsibility will always be the same, and the responsibility is great. If and when you become MCP,
remember you are the entity. You are the vision. You are the platform. AIESEC speaks of its impact on the world
through leadership. Your leadership is what will define your experience, and the experience of a thousand others.
It is both an honor and a responsibility too great not to do a damn good job as an MCP.
My own MCP experience has been nothing short of challenging, humbling and inspiring. I have been lucky
enough to truly feel and harness the goodness and influence of this organization and I wish I had more time to
see my vision come to life. But here I offer you the opportunity, through your leadership, to see that materialize.
We speak of leading a revolution; of changing the way we do things and challenging the formula that we’ve
subscribed to for the past 45 years. I am excited to potentially be working hand in hand with you in making that
revolution happen. Soon in this relay I shall pass the baton to you, and hopefully, finally, we will emerge as
winners.
Good luck on your first run.
Yours sincerely,
