The bodytext is larger than the header/subheader/quote to signifyimportance of information over identity

These are basic transformable elements that are dependent on anexisting design system of another entity. The circle is a stand-in foranother basic symbol/shape ( i.e. star, square, triangle). The Wavelineis a stand-in for dimensionality and movement.

These basic elements when repeated, combined, and arranged basedon an existing country, creates interesting and meaningful symbols.

A separate journal discusses possible combinations based on thebasic elements through the Bednose diagram as well as the fourdifferent stages where typography, dimension, and color is added tothe design system.

Kairos complex symbol meaning collapsibility

The design system for Kairos identity revolves around transforma-tion to incorporate the existing elements of the country it is currentlyin. This example uses the United States as the current host to Kairos.

I used an element/symbol from Kairos that communicates the idea ofcollapsibility when arranged in a complex manner. I incorporated thisarrangement inside the outline of the American map to combine thetwo nations together.
