Continue the easy drive to Geelong via the Princes Freeway. Day 4 & 5: Wodonga or Albury - Jindabyne (Snowy Mountains), 260km

Detour to Canberra via the Snowy Mountains Highway, which offer a large variety of activities including bushwalking, fishing, snow-skiing and snowboarding. One of the greatest engineering feats of the 20th Century, the Snowy Mountains Hydro Electric Scheme can also be explored from here. Superb trout fishing is a principle highlight of this picturesque area with the Snowy Mountains hosting the world fly fishing championship in the last few years. The main feature of your drive will be crossing the spectacular Great Dividing Range via the Alpine Way from Khancoban to Jindabyne.

Continue along the Great Ocean Road to see the Twelve Apostles, these giant rock stacks are a central feature of the spectacular Port Campbell National Park. Visit The Otway Fly Treetop Walk and Cafés in the magnificent Otways Ranges. The Fly itself is the longest and tallest elevated walk of its kind in the world. Warrnambool offers a large variety of attractions for all ages. Explore the maritime history with a visit to the Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village. Located only 15km west of Warrnambool is Tower Hill.
