To whom it may concern:

I have known and worked with Melanie Cole for the past 5 years. Melanie has performed in many

capacities for Walgreens Central Pharmacy Operations during this time. Melanie has been a Team Lead

and subject matter expert in Central Utility for both professional and non-professional employees. She

has been a team lead in the Resolution Center and the Central Fill department at Walgreens. In these

roles as team lead, Melanie was responsible for different teams working on the following tasks: data

entry of prescription orders, verification of entered prescriptions, pharmacist data review, pharmacist

clinical review, resolution of third party issues to adjudicate prescriptions through insurance, dispensing

of medications and packing and shipping the medications. Team Leads are responsible for monitoring

team member performance and metrics, team member payroll, attendance tracking and managing time

off and overtime requests for the team members. Team leads give weekly informative huddles to their

respective teams. Melanie was also responsible for providing yearly reviews and feedback for her team

members. Melanie was honored with MVP team lead status in all the departments she worked.

In addition Melanie has been in the training department for more than a year now and has been

responsible for onboarding new team members and getting them the basic training needed to be

released to the floor. She also does recursive training for team members who need assistance with their

performance. Melanie was also very involved in our Toyota Talent training and Lean Six Sigma efforts at

the CPO.
