Transcript of MeetTheBoss guest blogging
MTB Guest Blog Kit
Conceived in 2010, MeettheBoss TV started life as an IPTV channel dedicated to broadcasting face-to-face
interviews with the business arena’s most disruptive thought-leaders as a platform for executive learning,
including:
Who are We?
Between 2010-2011, our membership base swelled to approximately 100,000 executives – from C-level
executives all the way through to Managers – allowing us to engage with a committed community and begin
to build a respected brand and service.
Towards the end of 2011, MeetTheBoss TV went into hibernation as its parent company, GDS International,
re-aligned its business model with the aim of positioning MeetTheBoss TV as a leader in virtual business
broadcasting for the digital executive.
In June of 2012, it found its answer with a unique take on virtual roundtables. Creating a platform for
senior executives to discuss, network and knowledge-share on specific topics – recorded and moderated by
MeetTheBoss TV – allowed our audience to take charge of the broadcast schedule and become an active
part of the conversation.

Since introducing our virtual roundtable format, MeetTheBoss as grown exponentially to now include offices
in Bristol, New York, Miami and Sydney and two further TV studios to accommodate its growth.
We’re currently undertaking an entire website redevelopment, due for completion in March 2013, to better
serve our existing membership base and grow out new audiences and content streams.
Our content strategy is now far more integrated to include video in combination with blogs, vlogs, podcasts,
roundtables and social media to encourage better content discovery across the board. In this context, our
content is at the pulse of everything we do.
Our aim for 2013? To produce in excess of 900 private roundtables globally and cement MeetTheBoss TV
as a global leader in digital business broadcasting and facilitation.
Where We’re going
Content strategy in a multimedia context is now a top priority for MeetTheBoss. As a result, the blog will
play a pivotal role in igniting new conversations and engaging with over 107,000 executive members across
a variety of industries.
However, while we undertake a significant amount of content in-house, guest bloggers are already
becoming central to our success. In order to grow, we need to first establish reciprocal and productive
relationships with passionate bloggers and industry voices across a variety of disciplines to provide
expertise and thought-leadership.
We’re looking for quest bloggers who can provide insightful perspectives, instigate valuable discussion
points and attribute content to tie in with specific interviews and topics of interest reflected in our interviews.
We understand that guest blogging is all about flexibility. As such, it’s important for us to appreciate that our
guest bloggers are, by their very nature, busy people – and to work around their schedules accordingly. We
work with our current guest bloggers on a basis that works for them first.
Where Do you Fit in?
While guest blogging for MeetTheBoss carries no direct financial remuneration, we go the extra mile to
ensure all of our guest bloggers are supported and showcased at every opportunity. This includes:
