Miasms - a new understanding with Myriam Shivadikar

Myriam will address the use of Miasms in their unique application to homeopathyalongside the Five Elements. By superimposing the Five Miasms onto the Five Elementsas taught in Chinese Medicine we gain a different perspective of the miasms.Understanding this dynamic relationship gives us an insight into why many constitutionsdo not fit into one miasm but straddle multiple miasms.

Pathological Simillimum with Dion Tabrett RSHom

James Compton Burnett (1840-1901) was a legendary prescriber, prolific author andhad, by the end of his life, the most successful practice in London.

Burnett always championed “free thought in medical matters” and employedhomeopathic medicine to the huge benefit of his patients. His results were astounding -cured cases of tuberculosis, vaccinosis, fistula and both benign and malignant tumours.

If we could routinely replicate these results today then it would undoubtedly push our profession everforwards.

One of the main components to such success was his differentiation between the symptomatic simillimumand the pathological simillimum. This presentation will explore, define and give clinical examples of both.

methodology is applicable in a modern context, albeit requiring a very new remedy.
