Bled, the jewel of alpine Bled is a true alpine paradise in the northwest of Slovenia. Its
idyllic lake with an enchanting island and an imposing clifftop
castle has made it famous worldwide. These attractions have
drawn visitors to Bled for centuries, which led in turn to its
becoming a premier destination for prestigious meetings and
events.
Bled enjoys a prime location on the edge of Triglav National Park,
while also being only a short drive from the capital city Ljubljana
and its international airport. As well as its stunning natural scenery,
Bled is renowned for the unique ‘pletna’ boats which ferry visitors
to the island with its charming chapel and the wishing bell within,
the romantic horse-drawn carriages gliding around the lake and its
delicious Bled cream cakes which have been baked here for half a
century. Bled was the cradle of golf in Slovenia and its twin courses
are a divine pleasure and an intriguing challenge for lovers of golf
in an alpine setting.
Bled has long been a popular holiday resort and business
destination. The expertise that has been built up, allied with
premier modern facilities, enables Bled to offer a comprehensive
conference package and remain one of the most sought after
options in Slovenia. The Festival Hall caters for up to 500 delegates
and is only a short stroll from your hotel.
