Bowles Staff Service Award by May 31 The Erskine B. Bowles Staff Service Award is awarded to a permanent, full-time staff member who has shown exemplary understanding, empathy and devotion to mankind and whose accomplishments are consistent with the goals exemplified by Erskine B. Bowles during his tenure as UNC President and in accordance with the university's public service mission. See more information on the selection criteria and nomination process here. From the Staff Senate Chair: We very much enjoyed having 250+ staff members participate in our annual Staff Senate Strides event last Thursday! Special thanks to the departments and offices that tabled at the event, and those that donated raffle prizes and brought giveaways for their tables. One thing that I love so much about this event is getting to “put a face with an email” and connecting with so many staff members across campus. We look forward to seeing everyone at next year’s event!
