Importing Development Content

There are two elements in defining development content: the Catalog of Learning Activities and the Mapping of Learning Activities to Competencies

Both import file formats are CSV and have required column and header rows

Catalog of Learning Activities format:Column Name Comments GeoLearning data

1 ENTRY_TYPE Valid options: “LACatalog”, “LearningActivity” See sample

2 GUID Customer-supplied unique identifier for each record CourseID

3 LOCALE Valid options: “en_US”, “en_FR_SF”, etc. Always en_US

4 ENTRY_NAME Name of activity. Displayed in the list view. CourseName

5 PARENT_ENTRY_ID Must reference the GUID of the parent record. For LearningActivity records, these should reference a LACatalog record.

Career Worksheet Configuration

The Career Worksheet allows users to view and save job roles, to gain an understanding of the development effort required to move into a future role.

Each role on the worksheet shows the job code, description, and competencies required (as defined in Families & Roles).

It can also display a gap analysis for each competency, comparing the last rating of record recorded for the employee with the expected rating for that role.
