Brampton Grow Green is the City’s first Environmental Master Plan (EMP). It is a framework to ensure Brampton continues to grow as a healthy and livable community.
Brampton Grow Green identifies, protects and enhances what is important to us – clean air and water, and healthy rivers and forests – by making sure environmental sustainability is considered in every decision that affects our city.

The City of Brampton leads or partners on more than 175 Grow Green initiatives, including community programs, transit improvements, tree planting, and infrastructure construction and management.
The Grow Green vision is for Brampton to be a community that conserves, enhances and balances our natural and built environments to create a healthy, sustainable city. We will carry out our responsibilities to meet the needs of our community without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
