Meeting Time

04.04.2013 12pm-2pm

First CTS class. We form our own group and we have given a

song named ‘Don’t be cruel’ by the lecturer. After that, we

discuss the time for the next meeting which held on the next

day.

05.04.2013 1-2pm

First meeting.

We choose another three songs which are ‘I’m yours’ , ‘I Love

You’ and ‘Sayang’ for our performance. Then, we discuss

about the musical instruments which everyone must play to

form melody. I choose blank soda cans and chopstick as my

musical instruments.

08.04.2013 1-2pm

We choose our main vocals for the first three songs and we

decide that we sing together for the last song. Beside that,

we have a simple practice for ‘Don’t be cruel’. We put more

effort on ‘Don’t be cruel’ because it’s given by lecturer and

we have went through the other songs.

11.04.2013 12-2pm

We have our first tutorial session this day and we have a member,

Tsang Hao Ren joined our group. At first, we explain the

project with him and distribute the works with him. After that,

we show Miss Norma the songs that we have practiced. She

gives some opinions on our performance.

15.04.2012 10-12pm

Everyone focuses on the first two songs which are ‘I’m yours’

and ‘ Don’t be cruel’.Nicholas already arranged for the

position of everyone in the songs. He teaches us about the

beat of the songs. Then we practice with our own instruments.

17.04.2013 1-2pm

Since we already practiced for the first two songs, so we just

simply go through the songs this day. We start practise for the

third and fourth songs today. Everyone give opinions and

create a better way to performance. Karen and I sing for the ‘I

Love You’ ,a Barney theme song.

22.04.2013 4-7pm

Bryan Lee,our new member has joined us. Everyone has brought

their own musical instruments and have a formal practices for

all the songs, just need to practice singing while playing the

instruments. We practice again and again until we know the

songs well.

23.04.2013 11-1230pm

We have a short practice before show Miss Norma. We have

added some Onomatopoeia inside our songs to make the

performance more attractive. At 12.30 o’clock, we meet Miss

Norma beside the library and then she gives some comments

on our practise as remix the ‘I’m yours’ and ‘Don’t be cruel’. It

makes the performance look better.

24.04.2013 4-6pm

We practice with the way which Miss Norma recommended. We

have changes some parts of the songs .Other than that, we

also have discussed about the group name and the poster.

25.04.2013 8am-2pm

Before the tutorial class, we have our own practice. After some

practicing, we seen some improvement. When tutorial class,

Miss Norma asks us perform one by one group in front

class.Miss Norma suggests two pails in our performance are

enough. Besides that, we also pass up the individual poster to

Miss Norma.

26.04.2013 1pm-230pm

We have a short meeting this day. We practice for all the songs

again, from beginning to the end. After that, we discuss and

planning for the performance.

28.04.2013 9am-1pm

We have re-planned the performance once again,such as the

costume of our group.We choose to wear white and black shirt

with collar. James and Edwin arrange the position of everyone

on the stage depend on their musical instruments. At last, due

to our group name ‘FM 8.2’ , we consider to make a 2D radio

with A1 size as stage property.

29.04.2013 1pm-2pm

We design the 2D ‘radio’ together and collect unused cardboards

and plastic bottles for the body of ‘radio’. We practice once

inside LT13 to ensure that we can make a good performance on

the stage.

30.04.2013 5pm-8pm

We practice inside LT13 with full instruments. We realised that our

performance is quite ordinary .So, we add some fascinating

parts inside .We add a drama part inside ,for example ,we

realise that Bryan is missing when we all in position,and then

he carries the ‘radio’ walks down from the stairs to catch the

attention of the audience.

02.05.2013 12pm-2pm

CTS tutorial class. We show Miss Norma our performance.She

advises us to add some body movement, don’t just sing with

the musical instruments.

02.05.2013 6pm-9pm

We rearrange our position and the performance according

to Miss Norma’s recommendation. After discuss, we

add ‘Gentleman’ by PSY to become the last song.

Tsang Hao Ren has added dancing part and drama

inside. We work very hard for the practise because the

next day is the performance day and we have just put

in new ideas .

03.05.2013 9am-10am

We have our last practise and we record down the practise

to improve the parts that we don’t do well.

3pm-5pm

We are the 3rd group to perform. We do our best on the

stage !
