Charlotte ProcopisI originally joined The International Dermal Institute in the UK, as a Dermalogica Training Specialist. I then transferred to Australia and am currently the International Training Specialist. This position allows me to travel throughout Asia and New Zealand, keeping my finger on the pulse globally.

My passion for all things skin helps me to provide students with vital information on the skin health, through the effective use of the Dermalogica range and ingredient technology. I knew that Dermalogica was for me the minute it hit my skin. I love the opportunity I have to share this day in and day out with everyone that visits our training facility.

Jodi AyreMy professional journey actually started in the architecture industry. My heart was never really in it and I knew it wasn’t what I was really meant to be doing with my life. My career took a drastic change when I realised that most of my time was spent at my local skin treatment centre, experiencing treatments, learning about new skin care technologies and innovations. I knew this was the right path for me.

While completing the Diploma of Beauty Therapy, I fell in love with the idea of training future generations to do what I am so passionate about and, in particular, the opportunity to inspire, motivate and empower students. I knew that combining the two areas of the industry I am most passionate about - skin care and education, I had to work for the best in the industry - Dermalogica!

Dennille LudenauAs a child, I always loved playing with skin care and make up so it is easy to see how I ended up working in this amazing industry. I have always enjoyed challenging myself to learn new techniques, skills and information that will help me to be the best Skin Therapist I can possibly be. Dermalogica has provided me with the perfect opportunity to fulfil my passions of skin, learning and travel all rolled into one job!

I am looking forward to seeing what new exciting developments will occur within the Dermalogica tribe in the coming years, and I look forward to sharing them with you and helping you achieve your professional goals.

Renae FauntWhen I embarked on a career in skin care, never did I think I would be fortunate enough to work for Dermalogica. I now take great pride in being a part of a company at the forefront of the industry. My position as Training Specialist allows me to combine my three biggest passions – education, the skin and people – I couldn’t be happier!

I enjoyed my years working as a Skin Therapist, but quickly discovered I needed more – I needed to share my passion with others. I am thrilled that my position enables me to share my knowledge and passion with current and upcoming skin therapists, and expose others to the wonder that is Dermalogica.

Rebecca LeggeDuring my studies, I had the opportunity to attend the postgraduate training with Dermalogica. I’ve always felt inspired to be the best skin therapist I could be with the wealth of knowledge that I had gained during each workshop.

Dermalogica is a brand that I am proud to say I am truly delighted to be a part of. I get up each morning excited of what the new day will bring. Being a part of the education team fills me with pride as I am in a position to educate and inspire you as the skin therapist, just like I was, all those years ago.

Samantha Curran I first came in contact with Dermalogica over 10 years ago while I was studying in Ireland. From that moment, I knew I wanted to be a part of the Dermalogica tribe.

It has been a company I have admired over the years, and it’s been very exciting to watch Dermalogica grow. I’ve always wanted to be a Training Specialist as I love helping people and sharing my knowledge and ideas.

When the opportunity arose to join Dermalogica, I jumped at it. I enjoy going to work everyday as I learn so much from the company and my peers around me!

Skye McKieMy love of skin and all things Dermalogica started when I attended the Strand College of Beauty Therapy. I decided then that I needed to be working in an environment that strongly believed in the health and wellness of the skin. My first position as a Professional Skin Therapist was working for one of Sydney’s top VIP Dermalogica treatment centres. Working there allowed me to further my knowledge and skill set as I was encouraged to attend regular workshops both at The International Dermal Institute and Dermalogica.

It was while I was attending these courses that I made the decision that my goal would be to join Dermalogica, and one day be part of the Education team. It was not long after that, I was successful in securing a position with Dermalogica, first with a role in Customer Service, shortly followed by reaching my ultimate goal as a Training Specialist.

Sandra Trostel From day one, my passion has been skin and ingredient technology. As soon as I graduated from college, I was fortunate to work for an award winning, 5 star day spa where our treatments were results-orientated and focused on skin and body health. It was here that I felt a pull towards education as it was a core aspect of our job role. I knew then that education was the pathway for me and Dermalogica was the answer!

It gives me great joy and fulfilment to come to work every day as a Dermalogica Training Specialist. I get to share unsurpassed knowledge to ignite the fire within the Professional Skin Therapist to become successful, knowledgeable and excited about the amazing industry we work in.

Katrina JansenI was introduced to Dermalogica when I was 12 as a family friend gave me her Dermalogica Tinted Moisturiser. I loved it so much that when I started my apprenticeship at a Dermalogica Skin Centre and saw it sitting on the shelf, I was very excited.

I remember attending training and seeing how passionate everyone was about skin and that made me feel like I chose the right industry to be in. I couldn’t get enough, I just wanted to learn all about the ingredients and I couldn’t wait to see the fantastic results.

Working at Dermalogica is so rewarding because I can assist all students with their queries and support them. This is a dream come true. I hope coming to training inspires you to further your passion for skin and knowledge like it did for me.

Sarah ShephardI’ve always played with products; as a kid I used to make up my own potions and hide them in the cupboard so it’s no surprise that I went into skincare!

As a therapist, I’ve always wanted to know the how’s and why’s about a treatment, and I loved to share my discoveries with my clients.

I studied to become qualified to teach in postgraduate education and then landed my dream job with Dermalogica and the International Dermal Institute! I have an absolute passion for all things skin, ingredients and products so having the opportunity to share that passion makes coming to work every day a fantastic day! I look forward to spending time with you all.

Natalie HoganAfter school, I knew I wanted to become a Skin Therapist because of my passion for skin health. I first started working in a skin care centre where waxing, manicures and pedicures were the majority of treatments. I found great success in changing the clients’ mindsets from the old fashioned ‘beautician’ to the ‘skin therapist’. I was then offered the opportunity to manage a treatment centre, during which time I was introduced to the Dermalogica products and fell in love with them.

I love working in the Education department as it allows me to join my two passions in life - skin and education! I can’t wait to welcome you to our tribe and get you as excited about skin care as our team is.

Liz RogersI was originally born in the UK and then moved to Australia for a different adventure. I trained as a Therapist and Hairdresser at a college in the UK for 3 years.

My passion has always been to take a holistic approach to skin health and my first job was on a Health Retreat in a majestic stately home in the English countryside. There, I learnt about traditional Spa Hydrotherapy treatments and what impact lifestyle choices can have on the skin and body. I passionately believe that the combination of a balanced diet, exercise and stress free living combined with advanced skin care products like Dermalogica will deliver the best possible results for great skin.

Something you might not know about me is that I also am a volunteer Educator with Osteoporosis Australia. So many people don’t realise how diet and exercise, or lack of, can have a huge impact on whether or not you will suffer from this debilitating disease.

Susan NeilonWhat makes me so passionate about working for Dermalogica is seeing the positive impact our workshops have on our stockists. The ability we have to reignite the passion and re-motivate them to fall back in love with what they do. It doesn’t get much better than that!

Renee Martin Guerra My love for the skin care industry was ignited when I was just 15 years old while doing work experience at a local skin treatment centre. I went on to study Skin Therapy straight after high school and have worked within many different environments of the industry.

My passion lies with coaching and empowering the Professional Skin Therapist, ensuring they are equipped with knowledge of skin anatomy and the ingredients within the Dermalogica products to get the very best results for their clients’ skin!

I hope you enjoy the workshops as much as I enjoy delivering them and look forward hearing about your skin care journey.

Alice WattMy passion has always driven me towards the skin care and spa industry. I’ve also been fortunate enough that I have been able to travel and work in some fabulous places all over the world. Coming from a very small town in Scotland, I literally made the world my oyster!

My first experience with Dermalogica was here in Australia while attending the Melbourne Training Centre. I was blown away by the level of professionalism from the Training Specialists.

Working for the world’s number 1 professional skin care company is my career highlight to date. I look forward to meeting you all in class and helping you on your journey to becoming a Dermalogica expert!

Lisa PoaneI started my career in skin health around 7 years ago. I was not only passionate about my own skin care regime, but my family’s, friends’ and quite frankly anyone that would listen.

I remember attending my very first Dermalogica workshop. I was captivated by the passion, focus and ability to engage the audience that the Educator displayed. I kept thinking, ‘That’s where I want to be’.

When the opportunity arose to be a Dermalogica Training Specialist, I was ecstatic. To work amongst amazing, knowledgeable and talented educators is truly a dream come true! I hope that I can pass on my knowledge and passion to the next generation of skin therapists.

Sally-Jane BruggemannSince my first exposure to Dermalogica in 2005 as part of the college partnership programme, I have admired the high standards of education set by the company.

I had the opportunity to go to the Istanbul Congress in 2008 and since that amazing experience, I said to myself ‘Wow! My dream is to work with this company.’

I have recently moved to Melbourne and my dream has come true, I can proudly say I work for the best skin care company in the world. I look forward to welcoming you and watching your education journey also.

Ellie DouglasMy passion for Dermalogica was ignited many years ago, at the very beginning of my career, during my training at college. I was hooked from the word go; I instantly connected with the brand’s approach to skin health and I loved the honesty, uniqueness of the products and, of course, the incredible results. Since then, I have never taken my eye of Dermalogica.

I have been fortunate enough to experience many different aspects of the industry, from being in the treatment room right through to back stage at Fashion Week. I am grateful for the amazing opportunities I have been given, but education is what motivates me most – there’s no better feeling than knowing you have inspired others to be their very best.

When I made the move to Australia from the UK, I came with a clear goal in mind – to join the Education team at Dermalogica. I look forward to meeting you in Melbourne and being part of your Dermalogica education journey.

Rachel SteelMy Dermalogica journey started when I was studying Beauty Therapy at college. We had a Training Specialist come and spend the day with us and I fell in love with the products and brand from that day forward. I wanted to learn everything and be the best therapist I could be, and Dermalogica’s education curriculum enabled me to do that.I have been lucky enough to work for this amazing company in the UK as a Skin Specialist in a retail space at Selfridges Birmingham and now for the Perth Training Centre as the Education Registrar.
