computer games in mid 1980s.

• I was part of a field test of Tycho, a

prototype tablet computer, at a

Florida Educ. Ctr. in early 1990s.

Professional interests:Online instructional pedagogy and distance learning librarianship.

I started working for SLU in 2002 as the Florida Region librarian.

I have published book chapters, annotated bibliographies, and journal articles (including peer-reviewed).

I’m in the middle of a five-year research project on embedded librarianship.

I presented poster sessions

at EDUCAUSE /ELI and

Florida Library Assoc. Spring

2011 and was part of a panel

on embedded librarianship

at the 15th Distance Library

Services conference Spring

2012. I chaired the Distance

Learning Section of the

Assoc. of College and

Research Libraries 2012-

2013.
