Like many I’ve gradually become disillusioned with mainstream politics. The takeover of politics and politicians by ‘too big to fail’ banks and corporations has to stop.

Reforming the money system is central to truly tackling climate and pollution issues, poverty and even the perpetual wars endured pointlessly around the globe. I’m about to launch a Positive Money group in Kent with the aim of increasing awareness of the current financial system.

Locally I’m involved in campaigning against the proposed development at Lodge Hill on the Hoo Peninsula. Not only is this set to destroy a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a habitat for one of the UK’s most iconic birds, the nightingale, it also adds to the ‘housing bubble fire’ already raging out of control in our area and many others in the UK.”
