We, as veterinarians performing both clinical and research activities can experience on a daily basis what a difference it makes if we are able to work with handy, practical and well developed equipment. Usefulness for us does not merely mean good manual use, it also entails availability of service support that may cover cost-effective and quick exchange of spare parts. We could see several times that cost effective production was more important for the producers than the production of good quality and useful products. Quality of material, workmanship, applicability and durability are al-together indispensible for the production of human and veterinary medical equipments of good quality. In equine dentistry, good quality medical equipment should bear high

tension, rotation and drawing forces. Besides such require-ments, the weight, the shape, the size of the jars and the an-tislipping stability are equally important. Further important aspect for practitioners is whether the production company is willing to become a partner in “tailor-made” development of products. We managed to develop close partnership coopera-tion with Medicor Ltd. and we could find a similar philoso-phy applied by the company as was briefly described above. We are pleased to offer equine dental equipment developed as a result of dedicated work.
