Diagnosis

Correct diagnosis requires the knowledge of a doctor and the precise technology of today’s most advanced instruments that assist doctors in establishing good diagnosis.

Digital Planmeca ortopan produced in Finland is one of those instruments. With the help of this instrument a doctor is able to assess the quality and density of the bone, blood vessell capacity, see the processes in the roots, determin the right place for an implant, the position of existing implants and so on. Today’s modern dentistry leaves nothing to chance.

Excision of the parulis (a subperiosteal abscess of the gum)

Resorption operation with building in of aloplastic materials (fisiograft, emdogain...)

Oral implantology

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root used in dentistry to support restorations that resemble a tooth or group of teeth. Virtually all dental implants placed today are root-form endosseous implants and are placed within the bone.

Dental Reconstructive Technologies/Regenerative Dentistry

An ideal goal of oral-craniofacial dental reconstructive therapy is to establish treatment modalities that predictably restore functional tissues. One major area of focus has been in the area of dental materials with marked improvements in the design of materials used to restore teeth/periodontium/bone lost as a consequence of disease or disorders.

More than 85% of the global population requires repair or replacement of a craniofacial structure. These defects range from simple tooth decay to radical oncologic craniofacial resection. Advanced technologies by using tissues repair cells and growth factors represent a very interesting field for craniofacial tissues regeneration. They represent a potential key component in autologos graft for craniofacial tissues regeneration. Recent progress in the studies of molecular basis of tooth development, adult stem cell biology, and regeneration are providing fundamental knowledge for the utilization of human craniofacial tissues regeneration.

Our Center has introduced a new technology “Autologous bone marrow derived mononuclear cells combined with Bone Replacement Materials (Xenografts) in Advanced Maxillary and Mandibular Atrophy” - a safe effective method for replacing missing bone and adding mass to existing bone for dental implants.

Orthodontics

It’s never too early or too late to think about orthodontics. Orthodontic treatment can be successful at any age. Whether you are a child, adolescent or adult, we are committed to help you to achieve the smile you have always wanted! At first visit we will take an OPG, listen to your needs and concerns, examine your teeth and jaws, discuss the treatment options and the treatment process. If treatment is indicated, orthodontic records, study models, photographs and radiographs, will be done.

Periodontology

Periodontology, or Periodontics, is the branch of dentistry which studies supporting structures of teeth, and diseases and conditions that affect them. The supporting tissues are known as the periodontium.

Periodontium includes the gingiva (gums), alveolar bone, cementum, and the periodontal ligament. The word comes from the Greek words peri meaning around and odons meaning tooth. Literally taken, it means study of that which is “around the tooth”.

Periodontal diseases are those diseases that affect one or more of the periodontal tissues:

1. alveolar bone 2. periodontal ligament 3. cementum 4. gingiva

While many different diseases affect the tooth-supporting structures, plaque-induced inflammatory lesions make up the vast majority of periodontal diseases and have traditionally been divided into two categories: 1. gingivitis or 2. periodontitis. While in some sites or individuals, gingivitis never progresses to periodontitis, data indicates that gingivitis always precedes periodontitis.

ME-DENT Skin Regeneration Therapy

Our clinics have introduced a new technology for extraction of platelet-rich plasma containing autologous white blood cells that has a PRP enrichment rate of about 6- to 10- fold (about three to five times higher than that for conventional one) and contains white blood cells, which are not contained in conventional PRP. The therapy is found to have much greater efficacy in rejuvenating the skin, eliminating wrinkles, and reducing irregularities from acne marks compared with conventional therapy.

INDICATIONS

In conventional cosmetic medicine, hyaluronic acid and collagen are commonly injected. Now that * PRP Skin Regeneration Therapy is available, and the patient’s own blood may be used to improve all symptoms. * PRP - platelet-rich plasma

PRP Skin Regeneration Therapy, a type of regenerative medicine with the patient’s own blood, uses components called platelets in the blood to rejuvenate the skin.Based on an innate wound-healing ability, the therapy is performed by injecting components collected from the blood and is associated with no risk of allergy or infections. The safe therapy has been studied and applied in a variety of fields.

It is indicated for a wide variety of conditions; it is used for the treatment of trauma and burn in the department of plastic surgery and also used as an adjunct to implant therapy in the department of dentistry.

Addition of a certain ratio of growth factors to PRP allows treatment of deep nasolabial grooves, which are difficult to treat with conventional platelet therapy, and prolongs the duration of efficacy.

Maximizing the regenerative potential of PRP, which has the effect of potentiating your innate natural healing power and tissue reorganization potential, PRP Skin Regeneration Therapy is the cutting-edge, anti-aging procedure.

The therapy uses the patient’s own blood and thus poses no risk of allergy. It requires only one injection, and repeated clinical visits are not necessary.

Regenerative Medicine

Center For Regenerative Medicine “ME-DENT” is a cutting edge medical clinic that uses advanced regenerative technologies to treat chronic diseases for which there are inadequate standard therapies.

The using of autologous tissues repair cells as they have no ethical or moral issues and pose no possibility for rejection since they come from the patient’s own body.

Regenerative Medicine is the process of creating living, functional tissues to repair or replace tissue or organ function lost due to age, disease, damage, or congenital defects.

This field holds the promise of regenerating damaged tissues and organs in the body by stimulating previously irreparable organs to heal themselves. Regenerative medicine also empowers scientists to grow tissues and organs in the laboratory and safely implant them when the body cannot heal itself.

Cell technologies – Medicine of 21st century

“All diseases begin at cell level” proclaimed the famous German scientist Rudolf Virchov in the 19th. Century.

The 21st. Century is a century of biomedicine, cell biology and molecular medicine. It is a century of cells.

Pluripotent stem cells offer the possibility of a renewable source of replacement cells and tissues to treat a myriad of diseases, conditions, and disabilities including Parkinson”s a disease and Alzheimer”s disease, spinal cord injury, stroke, burns, heart disease, diabetes, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Stem cell research offers enormous potential for major advances in clinical therapy. Stem cells could be used to replace missing or damaged cells in important diseases. Today, donated organs and tissues are often used to replace those that are diseased or destroyed. Unfortunately, the number of people needing a transplant far exceeds the number of organs available for transplantation.

The healing potential of stem cells

Another potential application of stem cells is making cells and tissues for medical therapies. Today, donated organs and tissues are often used to replace those that are diseased or destroyed. Unfortunately, the number of people needing a transplant far exceeds the number of organs available for transplantation.

Pluripotent stem cells offer the possibility of a renewable source of replacement cells and tissues to treat a myriad of diseases, conditions, and disabilities the total number for today is approximately 150.

The risks associated with autologous tissues repair cells therapy are low. They are no different from the risks normally associated with surgical procedures. The entire procedure is performed in compliance with the principles of “Good Manufacturing Practice” and in accordance with the latest technological and medical standards.

The therapy involves the use of the patient’s own cells, so the risk of rejection – as there would be in a cell or organ transplant procedure – is almost nil.
