It is with great pleasure that we announce our annual conference MUSKCON 2016, a three day event this time. The fi rst two days are devoted to workshops on medical statistics, musculoskeletal ultrasound and fetal gastrointestinal tract imaging, the latter two with live demonstrations. We are in the era of evidence based medicine. This involves reading scientifi c articles and understanding research before applying it in practice. The workshop on medical statistics is designed to cover basic to advanced statistical concepts. This will enable us to meaningfully read and interpret an article. The last day of the conference off ers mini symposia and presentations on practical topics. We are pleased to have Dr. Ranjit Akolekar as our overseas faculty. He is the author of many scientifi c papers in fetal medicine. Experts from our country will share their knowledge and experience with us.
