THE OCCASION Leave it to Loewe to up the ante on the boutique party. To celebrate the second edition of Maison&Objet Americas, the Spanish brand gathered a select number of Miami aesthetes at its Design District shop to showcase Creative Director Jonathan Anderson’s latest project, Marquetry in Leather, a set of colorful oak furniture and accessories accented with fragments of leather. THE CROWD Notable attendees at the rather intimate but buzzy affair included hotelier Alan Faena (in head-to-toe white, of course), attorney Marvin Ross Friedman, fashionista Kelly Framel, Design Miami/ director Rodman Primack and restaurateurs Anastasia Koutsioukis and Ahmet Erkaya. THE HIGHLIGHTS The early evening party was rather low-key in tone. Guests perused the store and checked out the designs as they compared M&O itineraries... and dinner plans.

PUBLISHER

Jamie Altschul Jamie Altshul is the Publisher of Modern Luxury’s Palm Beach, the newest addition to Modern Luxury’s stable of

premiere regional luxury publications. As Publisher, Altshul will oversee the launch and growth of the brand’s print,

digital and robust events platform. Prior to her role at Modern Luxury, Altshul enjoyed a successful career in media

where she represented the most authoritative brands including WSJ magazine where served as its launch publisher

and at Conde Nast Media Group where she served as Executive Director. She also held senior roles at Vanity

Fair, Town & Country – where she also created and launched Town & Country Travel, and Wenner Media (Us

Weekly) prior to moving to South Florida to raise her family and continue her career. Altshul most recently served

as Executive Director for GQ and The New Yorker under Z Media and was the National Account Director at JES

Media, publisher of Boca Magazine and Worth Magazine. At JES Altshul developed integrated partnerships

amongst luxury brands creating multi-media programs across the publication’s print and digital properties.

EDITOR-IN-CHIEF

Jayne Chase As editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury’s Palm Beach, Jayne Chase will lead the editorial and design of the newest

luxury regional title for Modern Luxury. A Palm Beach resident and media expert, Chase began her career at Conde

Nast’s GLAMOUR and VANITY FAIR before moving to Hearst Publications where she served as the International

Editor at Harper’s Bazaar. She then became the Communications Director at J. Crew which led to regular TV

appearances as a fashion reporter on shows across the country including Good Morning America, ABC, NBC

and CNBC. She was also the Co-Host on the Martha Stewart Morning Living Radio Show on Sirius and hosted her

own radio show called A Fashoinable Life on1490 WGCH in Greenwich, Ct. Chase and her husband support the

Everglades Foundation and volunteer for the United Way of Palm Beach County where he serves on the board.
