Rarely is there a class on how to prepare the most challenging event, that of the fire oral board . You will receive immediate feedback; personal analysis focusing on your responses based upon traditional oral board questions.

The Lead Instructor is Andrew Mejia, former senior truck captain with over 33 years with Encinitas Fire and a Palomar Fire Academy instructor since the inception of the program in 1990. Captain Mejia has sat on thousands of firefighter oral boards and has coached and mentored hundreds of firefighters to reach their goals. Assisting him are two fire chiefs Nick Pavone & Marc Revere with over 30 years of experience as chief officers who have hired firefighters in their career and know exactly why certain questions are asked, and the best approach to answer them. You will not learn canned responses but individual answers based upon your background, specifically crafted for you..
