At the beginning of the music video scenes of the

artist and her lover together are shown to

establish that there is/was a relationship between the

two.

From the tone of the song you can clearly identify that

something has happened and the couple have broken up.

The audience can recognise the fact that there has been

a disruption and as the video goes on and the artist expresses her feelings.

Throughout the video the audience can see the artists

journey toward repair, as she sings “and your all that I have that I had, and I don’t want to lose what we have built this

far” [bridge].

Will she be reunited with her lover or will she go on to

heal and begin life without him?
