With the campaigning done, the crazy TV debates witnessed, every foul word imaginable exchanged and at last the votes cast over the longest 15-hour period of the year, its about time to remind ourselves of that exit poll; the dramatic moments in which the UK’s political landscape, well and truly turned on its head…

Its 10 o-clock, and we are saying that the Conservatives, are the largest party.

And here are the figures which we have-quite remarkable this exit poll:

The Conservatives on 316, that’s up 9 on the last election in 2010.

Ed Miliband for Labour-77 behind him at 239; down 19, from the last election.

And the other parties-the Liberal Democrats and the Scottish National Party; look at the Scottish National Party, 58 for Nicola Sturgeon: that’s every seat but one in Scotland taken by the SNP.

Nick Clegg for the Liberal Democrats, on 10-that’s down 47, on the last election.

UKIP we’re saying on 2-treat that with caution as it’s a new entry in a sense in this game; it’s difficult in places where UKIP haven’t stood before what it would be like, but that’s what we are saying at the moment. 2 for UKIP.

That simply staggering exit poll from Mr Dimbleby was just the start of things as it all turned out in the small hours...

"If this exit poll is right, Andrew, I will publicly eat my hat on your programme."

He might as well have started to eat that hat at that point, as they ended with just 8 MP’s; the worst in the party’s history… Nick Clegg-gone…

Douglas Alexander: Scottish Labour Party-17,864

Mhairi Black: Scottish National Party-23,548

BIG CHEERS FROM CROWD

Balls Ed: Labour and Co-operative Party- 18,354

Jenkyns Andrea Marie: The Conservative Party Candidate-18,776

BIG CHEERS FROM CROWD

And along with those cheers becoming a symbol of the night, very convincingly replacing Clegg’s men as the Commons third biggest force was the SNP, claiming a sensational 56 out of Scotland’s 59 seats, including the youngest MP since the 1832 Reform Act-Mhairi Black & therefore meaning Nicola Sturgeon, cementing her place in history…

It meant the party with the UK’s most famous Ed’s was in trouble, with one of them possibly falling in the biggest scalp of the mad, mad night…

THE END

Labour’s fall from grace in Scotland and their inability to win big in England cost them-they were 98 behind the Tories meaning Miliband was sent packing.

UKIP’s biggest ever share of the vote dammed Labour up north-over 3.8 Million for Farage’s men, but the voting system meant 1 MP-1.1 Million for the Green’s & Natalie Bennett also only meant 1 Commons rep, through re-elected Caroline Lucas in Brighton, meaning there was only one winner…

So at 12:36, on Friday 8th May, we can say the result of this election, is a Conservative Victory.

330 MP’S crossed DC over the line-and gave the man who begged the public for something no one thought would happen; a Majority.

The mad world of politics, demonstrated in 1 ridiculous night…
