BILLBOARD

Billboard magazine’s main focus is on

the top charts of the week. It is an

American magazine, but since I would

cover a wider range of music then I

could lose some of my audience to

them. This means that my magazine

would have to have, not only the top

charts, but something else that the

population would be interested in.

ROLLING STONE

Rolling Stone magazine has a vast

range of content. It looks at television

programs, films, and music of this

generation. I would have to have bits of

information about actors and music

artist that would interest the youths of

today.

NME

NME magazine focuses mainly on rock,

indie, and alternative music. This covers

quite a range, but since my magazine

would have no limitations then it could

steal some of NME’s audience if I offer

more. I could cater to the new up

coming bands as well as the main

figures of today.
