The Genre of this song is Pop/Rock which is represented by the standard band set up which is included in the video.

The use of people dancing is often used in this genre and even though there is no real dance routine they are all doing similar moves and trying to imitate the moves used by Jagger.

In the video they are paying tribute to Mick Jagger by trying to make it as similar to a stage performance that he would have with The Rolling Stones

The video is trying to emulate video footage filmed in the 60s with a grainy texture.

The audio of the song is upbeat and the fast cuts between shots represent this

There are constant close ups of Adam Levine in order to show that he is the lead singer of the band and he is the face of them.

There is a lot of voyeuristic treatment of the female body in the video with shots of women posing before the camera and shots tilting in the same way you would look at someone.

The women used in the video are also dancing in the same way to make them not have an individual personality.

There are a lot of close up shots of Christina Aguilera which are used to show us how she is important at whilst she's singing.
