The first thing we see is the typography, which is red to represent blood. The writing itself also becomes liquid like and runs down the screen, which adds to the effect that it is similar to blood.

It cuts between, the typography on a black background, and then to what appears to be news report on the violence and destruction what is going on as well as the zombie-like creatures. It starts of quite slow paced but as it gets more violent the pace fastens.

He created the Title Sequence for ‘Dawn of the Dead’. When we see the words, we hear an non-diegetic sound Which is quite scary and creepyso its quite parallel to what wesee. During the cuts we hear theCreatures screeching. Also we hear in dialogue what isgoing on. Then we hear the soundtrack and the music is mainlycontrapuntal but the lyrics are quite creepy.

The sequence is a prologue because it Introduces you to the films narrative.

He also did the title sequence for Twister.

The typography was kept very simple, they show up and then fade away mainly to keep the audience expected little so what happens next Is kept very unexpected. Then the third one crumbles away and circles like its in the twister. This to shock the audience and it also resembles wreckage, all this makes us feel like were in the twister ourselves.

The sound in the clip, is quite slow and builds tension, then as the tornado begins, the Pace gets faster, and makes the scene more chaotic, and makes it seem more dangerous.

‘Cooper’s Twister title sequence reflects in a moment the exquisite beauty of Mother Nature’s madness – and her power to wreak devastation on silly little humans like us.’ - WatchTheTitles.Com
