 All media is owned by a company or conglomerate, a media conglomerate is amultinational firm that distributes media products in the industry, six conglomerates hold90% of what we read, listen to and watch therefore the public is easily manipulated withoutthem knowing !hese conglomerates tend to provide a variety of products to audiences topromote their brand or film through synergy !hey are able to do this through previousmass success "t is the promotion of a media product through many media platforms in thehope of attracting bigger and wider audiences, therefore making a large profit "t is slightlya vicious circle within the production and distribution companies in the way that theresmaller ones will struggle to do as well as they are not part of this big six which in theirown right can control any aspect of the media !he smaller companies do not have thisluxury and now that there is the big six it makes it even harder to break into that leagueeven maybe through means such as a breakthrough film #ig six companies such as !ime
