Coach Scott McInnes

• Head Coach, Varsity.Coach McInnes enters his 15th season as Head Basketball

Coach at Millbrook and his 20th season as a Head coach.Accumulated 400 wins.Career record: 400-138 [.743]Millbrook Record: 282-108 [.723]19 Consecutive Playoff Appearances [ Millbrook/Bunn]

Coach Christopher Davis

• Associate Head Coach, Varsity.Coach Davis enters his 15th season as Associate Head

Coach at Millbrook.From 2001 to 2013, Davis served as the Head Coach of

Millbrook's JV team, and in those 12 seasons, the Wildcats finished 1st Place in the conference 9 times.

. He has been on Millbrook's coaching staff for 8 conference championships, 6 regional appearances, and 1 state championship appearance.

Coach Alex Pharr

• Assistant Coach, Varsity.Coach Pharr enters his fourth season as an assistant

coach at Millbrook.

Coach Julius McKinley• Assistant Coach, Varsity.Coach McKinley enters his second season as an assistant basketball

coach at Millbrook High School and his fourth season overall as an assistant coach.

He has had the chance to coach three of the top players in the state of NC in Josh Newkirk of Pittsburgh and Campbell's Shane Whitfield along with future Camel, Chris Clemons.

McKinley has aspirations of becoming a head coach at the high school and collegiate level.

Coach Jamal Williams

• Assistant Coach, Varisty.Coach Williams enters his second season as an assistant

coach at Millbrook.

Varsity

Players

Jordan Sterrett

• Sterrett, earned his first varsity letter at Millbrook in 2013-14.

• Jordan started several non-conference games to open the season before settling into a bench role that saw him average 2.4 points per game.

• He had a career high 7 points at Wakefield on February 4th.

• Jordan was named to the Cap-8 All-Academic Team in 2014.

Chris Clemmons• Chris started all 29 games at point guard for the Wildcats and posted 20+

points on four occasions including March 6th in the 4A Eastern Regional Semi-Final when he went for 22 points vs. Panther Creek.

• Clemons took home many accolades during his Junior campaign such as All-Metro, All-District, All-Region, and All-Academic honors along with being named a Millbrook PDQ Athlete of the Week and the Coastal Federal Credit Union and 99.9 FM the Fan's Scholar Athlete of the Month for October of 2014. Chris was also unanimously named the 2014 Cap-8 Conference Player of the Year.

• Upon graduation, Chris has accepted an athletic scholarship to play collegiate basketball at Division I Campbell University.

Faison Brock• Brock made his mark defensively for the Wildcats last season as a

Sophomore. He ended up starting the team's final 11 games, and finished the year with 4.1 points, and 6.2 rebounds per contest.

• Faison drew a team leading 8 charges in 2013-14 including 3 in a win vs. Knightdale. He also posted a double-double (10 pts./12 reb.) in the 4A Eastern Regional Final vs. Apex.

• The 6'5 Forward was a PDQ Millbrook Athlete of the Week last season along with being named to the Cap-8 All-Academic Team.

Robert Brown

• The 6'9 Forward averaged over 14 points and 6 rebounds per game including 30 points, and 11 rebounds in the 3rd Round of the Playoffs vs. Seventy First.

• Robert posted double digit point totals in the team's two regional games which earned him All-Region honors to accompany All-District and All-Conference merits.

Seve Williams

• Seve joins the varsity team as a well seasoned veteran of the Millbrook Basketball Program.

• He handled the point guard position on the Freshman Team in his first year before moving up to Junior Varsity last season where he contributed in a similar fashion.

Andrew Evans

• After posting a career high 21 vs. Sanderson on February 21st, Evans started the final 5 games of the season for Millbrook.

• He finished the season with an average of 8.3 points per game and scored in double digits in 12 of the Wildcats 29 games.

• Andrew was named to the Cap-8 All-Academic team along with being named 2nd Team All-Conference and Millbrook's "Defensive Player of the Year".

Reid Herring

• Before making a name for himself on the gridiron as the Starting Quarterback of the Varsity Football team, Herring contributed key minutes as a Freshman on the JV Basketball team that only lost one game, thanks in part to some late heroics from the 6'3 Forward.

• November 29th, 2012, Herring propelled the Wildcats to one of their most exciting wins of the season as he pulled down an offensive rebound and promptly stepped back to hit a game winning three point shot from the corner as time expired to defeat Middle Creek's JV team.

Rashad George

• George started his Sophomore season on the Varsity team before becoming a leading scorer at the JV level.

• Rashad averaged 2.8 points in his 5 game stretch on Varsity including a 7 point performance on November 26th vs. Northern Durham.

John Burwell

• John has worked his way up through the Millbrook Basketball Program as this is his third level in as many years.

• A solid guard at both the Freshman and JV level, John looks to contribute often to the Varsity team.

Monte Harris

• Monte' begins his second career Varsity season but, his first at Millbrook.

• The 5'11 guard previously played at Houston County High School in Warner Robins, Georgia.

• Monte' and his brother, Mykel also ran Cross Country for Wildcats in the Fall of 2014.

Trejon Jacob

• Trejon begins his first season as a member of the Millbrook Basketball Program after having a breakout year for Dulles High School in Sugarland, Texas.

• The 6'4 Forward averaged 7.9 PPG as a Sophomore along with 2.8 Rebounds per game for the Vikings highlighted by back-to-back 20+ point efforts as he had 22 vs. Elkins, and 23, six nights later vs. Angleton.

• Trejon was named the "Newcomer of the Year" for his 5A District last season.

Mykel Harris

• Mykel enters his Senior year as a newcomer to the program. He had previously played at Houston County High School in Warner Robins, Georgia with his brother, Monte'.

• Harris, who ran for Millbrook's Cross Country team in the Fall, looks to finish his high school basketball career as a guard for the Wildcats.

Shase Soto

• Shase embarks on his third season with the basketball program, but his first as a Varsity member.

• Soto began his career on the Freshman team before moving up to JV towards the end of his Freshman year, and it was on JV where the 6'3 Forward played last season.

• He is one of the first 3 Wildcats to have played on the Freshman team in their career, and eventually make the Varsity team.

Managers

• Managers are an important part of the sport. They make sure that everyone has what they need and when something goes wrong they are the ones to fix it. You go!

Lindsay Cirillo

• Team Reporter• Her favorite part of being with the basketball program is

spending time with the team and other managers.• She hopes to pursue a career in broadcasting at her

dream school, South Carolina.• Her favorite movie is the fault in our stars, her favorite

food is sushi, and outside of millbrook she enjoys shopping.

Alexis Sukidi

• Her favorite part of being manager is the fact that everybody is together and laughs.

• She hopes to attend the art institute for interior design.• If she could travel anywhere in the world, she would go to

Jamaica. Her favorite food is pizza, and she enjoys the movie hitch.

Aviance Beck

• She enjoys bonding with the other managers, and became a manager because of her love for basketball.

• Outside of Millbrook she likes to dance and plans on attending Winston Salem State University to major in history or performing arts.

• Her favorite movie is beyond the lights.

Bridgett Rogers

• Wanted to become a manager so she could become part of a team.

• She enjoys team bonding activities, pizza, the hunger games, and if she could travel anywhere in the world, she would go to Puerto Rico.

• Her plans after high school include majoring in business management and/or corporate law at UNC-Chapel Hill

Ashley Taveras

• Manager.• She enjoys bonding with the team and has learned that

many of the managers have similar personalities.• She likes the movie Girlfight and her favorite food is pizza. • After high school she wants to join the US army and

explore forensic science in hopes of becoming a CSI member.

Tabitha O’Neal

• Manager, Scorekeeper• She became a manager to be a part of a team and she says

that supporting the team is her favorite part of being a manager.

• She enjoys the movie “The Fault in Our Stars”, and hopes to one day attend East Carolina or NC State to become a therapist.

• Her favorite food is Chicken tenders.

Abbie Flower

• Manager, scorekeeper.• Joined the basketball program as a manager to become

more connected with Millbrook.• Her dream college is Duke University where she wants to

become a doctor. She loves scary movies, and would love to travel to the Dominican Republic one day.

• Her favorite part of being a manager is to keep score and film.
