Our media product challenged the norm of conventions within real media products by using a brighter and less sinister setting.

SETTING

We chose a park as the setting for the majority of our thriller as it is different to other thrillers which would captivate the audience and get them to question our choice as it is not conventional for a thriller to be set in such a bright and open place.

The opening scene from ‘Silence of the lambs’ for example, conforms with the conventions as the setting is more daunting and typical for a Thriller as the lighting is dark and it looks misty, which ours does not.
