Our production companys name and logo are all one. The title/text supports itself as a logo as its white with a simple yet distinctive font. The text allows it to look unfinished and open because our company is open to all talents and abilities

The white text colour contrasts with the dark scenery behind it so the words stand out and are clear to read

WHAT DOES A PRODUCTION COMPANY DO?

A production company provides the physical basis for works in the industries of performing arts, media, film, radio and video

The production company is responsible for supervising the filming, from concept to completion and they hold the sole legal and financial responsibility of the movie as a whole.

DISTRUBUTOR

A film distributor controls the marketing and circulation of movies, and viewing television/DVD rights.

They are involved in deciding how much the film is advertised on TV, internet or magazine.

The Distributor arranges screenings and uses other marketing technique

The decide how many cinemas the film will show in

Our Ideal distribution company would be revolver entertainment

Because they are an award winning film distribution and theyve marketed Kidulthood which became a successful young teen/crime drama film, which follows similar genres to our film.

FUNDING?

I would hope to be funded by BFI (British Film Institute) because it will support all the marketing and distribution.

The BFI uses lottery funds to nurture and invest in a diverse mix of first class filmmakers UK-Wide

They support new talent, filmmakers emerging and established

The funding will also allow us more creative and financial freedom

TITLES

Titles are produced in film openings, because the audience need to know who participated and helped in the production of the film

The titles come on at the start while the music kicks in and the action begins. However the audience are still able to watch the scene and read the titles as the effects come on quickly as a flash, then disappear and the scene slowly evolves.

However our title of the film is shown differently than most film openings where they display the title first. Weve shown the title at the end of the film so the audience know the name of what their watching and remember it as would have been the last thing they saw, also after watching the opening the title would make more sense to them, alongside with the music.

The Director/editor was displayed first as The director created the script and organised the production followed by the Producer and design producer (Val&Oshin)

WHAT FILMS HAVE INFLUENCED YOU?

The films that influenced me due to the similarities with my story line and genre, were films such as Kidulthood, Skins and Misfits.

All these films have been successful teen dramas with a touch of crime, suspense, action and romance and Ive personally enjoyed watching them and found them engaging but relatable.

For camera angles and editing Kidulthood and Skins has influenced as the most in how to create tension or sexual emotion and convey it by camera to the audience. Also for the use of establishing shots!
