•Firstly, there is high angled panning across a city to show

the audience the setting of the movie.

•There is also slow, ominous music which puts the audience

in suspense and makes them anxious.

•Then the camera zooms into the buildings so the

focus is on a window. This makes the audience

suspect that there is significance with the window or

the person who is behind it.

•This shot suggests that the women is the main focus and

is important as the camera shows a full shot of her.

However she may be inferior to the man as he has more

height and is looking down on her.

•There is a close-up of an ensemble of things. Although

this shot is only a few seconds long, it makes the audience

wonder what the relevance of it is.

•The middle shot of the women emphasises her distressed

facial expression where as the body language of the man

seems relaxed.

•The distance between the characters suggest tension.

Further more the fact that the woman's back is the man

implies a lack of respect.

•The close up of the characters suggest intimacy which is

evident as he has his hand on her shoulder.

•They are both wearing a the same sort of shirt which

suggests similarities between them.

•This seems to be a romantic scene but that is contradicted

by the eerie music which confuses the audience.
