they are characterised by modern designs, best manu-

facturing standards and an extremely reliable safety

technology.

The compact, mobile emergency oxygen unit, as well as

the mobile OxyraTOr with and without aspiration ensure

a particularly effective mobile oxygen therapy in hospitals

and practices as well as in senior citizen and care homes.

MaQUET – The Gold Standard.

Technology at its best: the MEDaP mobile gas supply

from MaQUET is at its best when things need to move

quickly or when patients must be supplied with gases out-

side the central gas supply.

The innovative pressure regulators in the MEDaP product

range, with or without flowmeters and with additional

outlets on request, and with their high nominal flows,

offer the ideal solution for all needs and set standards

worldwide in the process. Like all MaQUET products,

COMPACT TECHNOLOGY FOR FAST, SAFE WORkFLOWPRESSURE REGULATORS FOR CONNECTION TO GAS CYLINDERS

Perfect coordination of design and technology: the new

MEDaP pressure regulators are an innovative solution for a

wide variety of applications in the medical gas sector. They

reduce the pressure in gas cylinders to the nominal operat-

ing pressure required by medical personnel. With their very

high nominal flow of 150 l/minute, the new MEDaP pressure

regulators are ideally suited for connecting devices with a

high gas requirement. Thanks to their particularly compact

structure, they take up very little space and their extremely

low weight makes them easy to handle. This makes them

essential aids in a clinical environment, as well as in emer-

gency and rescue situations and within the patient's home.

Highest level of operating safety: MEDaP pressure regula-

tors are not only designed to handle a high supply pressure

of up to 300 bar (30,000 kPa), they also ensure a high pres-

sure stability in the nominal operating pressure (400 kPa),

thus doing away with the need for subsequent regulation

when the gas cylinder pressure drops. For the sake of maxi-

mum safety, an effective release valve with a high flow has

been installed. It protects both the patient and any down-

stream devices in the event of over-pressure.

Built-in precision: in order to ensure a high level of accura-

cy of the flow rates, MEDaP pressure regulators are fitted

with modern flowmeters from MaQUET. In this way, they

support a fast and stable workflow.

Convincing economy: MEDaP pressure regulators have

been developed in such a way that they are able to make the

best use of the existing volume of gas cylinders, thus, from

an economic point of view, only a very small residual volume

remains.

Different flow rates for click-stop flowmeters

Large selection of pressure regula-tors for a wide range of medical gas types

Short or long fitting for 2/3 litre gas cylinders or 10/11 litre gas cylinders

UNF 9/16" outlet and additional tube adapter

No limits: as a specialist for pressure regulators, MaQUET

has developed an innovative component system which ena-

bles the user to individually configure pressure regulators for

all gas types and to suit all needs and locations.

The following product options can be freely combined,

on request:

Gas type: alongside pressure regulators for oxygen,

pressure regulators for numerous medical gas types such

as compressed air, nitrous oxide, carbon dioxide etc are

offered

Connection to gas cylinders: an international range of

gas cylinder connection types is available to choose from:

DIN (DIN 477-1), BOC (BS-341) Great Britain,

air Liquide (NF E 29 650) France, UNI (UNI 4406) Italy,

PIN INDEx EN-850, CGa V-1, ISO 5145.

These connections are used to regulate the pressure from

the gas cylinders in such a way that connected valves,

pumps and devices can be directly connected as in a

CSS terminal unit

Short or long fitting: there are short and long fittings

enabling the use of a short fitting for 2/3 litre gas cylinders

and a long fitting for 10/11 litre gas cylinders

Fixed flow rate: pressure regulators with a fixed flow rate

of 4 l/min, 5 l/min und 6 l/min are available on request

Flowmeters: click-stop flowmeters from MaQUET with

a total of 13 setting levels can be individually regulated.

They offer a variety of flow rates, 0-1 l/min, 0-5 l/min,

0-15 l/min and 0-30 l/min

Additional outlet couplings: pressure regulators are

offered with a choice of one or two additional international

outlet couplings. DIN (DIN 13260), BOC (BS-5682)

Great Britain, air Liquide (NF S 90-116) France,

aGa (SS 87 524 30) Sweden, UNI 9507 (Italy) are

available to choose from

Oxygen pressure regulator with fixed flow rate

Oxygen pressure regulator without flowmeter

knowing what is needed: oxygen pressure regulators with

cylinder pressure gauges from MaQUET can be connected

to all oxygen cylinders with a DIN screw connection. They

are suitable for a wide range of applications.

Oxygen pressure regulator with fixed flow rate: the

special feature of this oxygen pressure regulator with short

fitting is the fixed flow rate of 4 l/min. This makes it ideal for

use at the patient’s home.

Pressure regulators with another connection to gas cylin-

ders, with a different fixed flow rate or a long fitting are

available from MaQUET on request.
