    Minimum of 2 years of mechanical design experience within valve, piping or manufacturing environmentExperience with FEA and performing hand fluid calculationsKnowledge of ASME codes and regulationsProficient in computer aided design and analysis (solid modeling with SolidWorksor similar, calculations with MathCAD, Excel or similar)Solid understanding of machine design (fits, tolerances, alignment, bearings, power transmission and other machine components)Working knowledge of blueprints, schematics, piping drawings, site elevation drawings, manufacturing prints, and drafting knowledge (ANSI Y14.5)Understanding of Bill of Material structuringMicrosoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookManufacturing practices and processesWorking knowledge of design of experiments, testing, data interpretation (e.g. vibration analysis), non-destructive testing, monitoring/failure analysis and equipment failure history analysisPerform stress, strain, and deflection analysisKnowledge of engineering materials

    thods, process control fundamentals and product test processes.Familiarity with manufacturing methods welding, brazing, soldering, adhesive bonding, machining, stamping, molding and forming.Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment with complex project attributes.Ability to use 3D solid modeling Solid Works preferred.Ability to clearly present design concepts to customers, managers and peers.Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with superiors, peers, suppliers andcustomers.Ability to work with other cross-functional teams including process development,quality, marketing, purchasing, etc.Ability to develop unique, differentiated solutions to complex problems.

    Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Master's preferred. 4+ years of experience in product development. Project management experience preferred, PMP certification is a major plus. Experience within a regulated industry such as medical device, aerospace, automotive or other. Dynamic personality, high energy! Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with strong

    leadership skills. Proven ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to an ever-changing fast-paced environment.--------------------------------------------------------
